Let’s take a look at her book Stiletto Heels or Bicycle Wheels?!
Lindsey has reduced the prices of her novels to $1.30 grab them while they are on sale!!
When stressed out New York executive Rosie Hamilton inherits her Aunt Bernice’s run-down cottage, it couldn’t have come at a better time. With her love life, if she could call it that, exploded in her face and suspension from her job swinging through the corporate jungle, she reckons a couple weeks in Devon could be just the escape she needs from the glamorous, yet trauma-strewn landscape of her life in Manhattan.
But life hidden away in the thatched lodge is dull and how can she contemplate tackling the jungle of a garden in her Louboutins and Armani skirt suit?
Rosie, uncomfortable with the invasion of privacy masquerading as community spirit, yearns to return to her old life of social indifference, until she stumbles upon her aunt’s old, hand-illustrated recipe book .With no other activity to occupy her time, she bakes, bakes, bakes as if her life depends on it. With no form of transport either, Rosie takes to the road on Bernice’s ancient bicycle, warm Devonshire scones in the wicket basket up front.
She even has time to date! Austin, her aunt’s handsome, sharp-suited solicitor is straight from her New York wish list of boyfriend material; and Charlie, the local luxury Spa Hotel’s general maintenance guy, definitely not her type, irritatingly chirpy and lacking in life’s ambition.
With recipes from Aunt Bernice’s own baking book for you to try at home; Corporate Manhattan or rural Devon? Austin or Charlie? ‘Stiletto Heels or Bicycles Wheels?’ Which would you choose?

Please tell us a bit about your latest release.
Stiletto Heels or Bicycle Wheels? is set in NYC and follows the rollercoaster life of Rosie, a stressed out executive as her life explodes in her face and how she copes with the fall out. It’s about family loyalty, and finding love where you least expect it. Oh, and it includes recipes from an old journal Rosie stumbles upon. My favorite is Lavender Shortbread.
Are you attending any conventions in 2014? If so, what are the top three reasons as to why you like/choose them?
I live in the UK, so this year I will be attending the annual writers’ retreat organized by my local chapter of the RNA. It should be lots of fun. I love gossiping with fellow authors, exchanging tips and experiences, but I also hope to get some writing done.
What is your favorite romance genre and what author makes you absolutely swoon?
I love all things romance, but I especially enjoy chick-lit. I really need to see a happy ending for my heroine. Authors on my own reading list include Sophie Kinsella, Trish Astley, Cathy Kelly, Colleen McCulloch and of course, Jane Austin.
What is your dream vacation spot?
I have to say Hawaii! It’s a long trip from the UK, but we were married there and I’d love to go back some day. But apart from that, it’s always been my husband’s dream to visit Niagara Falls, so that trip is on our list for this year.
What do you think has been the most important moment or event of your life so far? And why do you feel that way?
What a fabulous question, I really have to think about this as there have been several, some personal, like getting married and of course the birth of my son, but career-wise it has to be my Graduation Day and getting my publishing deal.
Is there anything else you would like our readers to know?
I hope they enjoy ‘Stiletto Heels or Bicycle Wheels? – Which would you choose?’ It is an uplifting, inspiring story and a great read for the summer. My latest novel has just been published – ‘The Wedding Yarn’, a chic lit read for all those who will be tying the knot this year- five stars on Amazon. It follows a couple who open up their wedding to the whole country!
Summer or Winter
There is no hesitation here for me. I love the summer and the sunshine. I was born in July so maybe that’s why? But the long light nights and leaving the raincoat at home are brilliant bonuses!
Peanuts or Chocolate
Chocolate! Love it – too much I think. As a writer I suffer from writer’s bottom so I really must cut down and switch to strawberries or pineapple! Or, maybe, chocolate-covered strawberries and pineapple? As readers will see from my novel, I adore baking – there’s recipes in there to try out at home.
Batman or Superman
Batman – my son’s favorite.
The Voice or American Idol
We have X Factor in the UK as well as The Voice. I love them both, but I like the concept of The Voice which speaks to my conscience of fairness.
Christmas or Birthday
Christmas for me. Everything is so magical at that time of the year. Plus, everyone is celebrating, not just you. And the baking and the fragrance of spices floating around the house!! Ahh!
Heels or Flats
In my novel ‘Stiletto Heels or Bicycle Wheels?’ Rosie has to make exactly such a choice. But for me, unless it’s a special occasion – flats. I’m not spilling over what Rosie chooses.
Talk or Text
Talk every time. I love to people watch – what author doesn’t?
Action Movie or Comedy
Romantic comedy is my favorite, but I also love a good suspense movie.
