Robyn Sheffield is thrown into a world she doesn’t understand and forced to live her life based on the wants and needs of those around her. Robyn is a warrior determined to fight for herself and willing to do whatever it takes to regain her freedom and the right to go where she wants, do what she wants and love who she wants! Her resolve leads her into the arms of the feline stray Alpha.

Alpha Titus Alexander is in pursuit of legitimacy for his Pride and all strays in the U.S. from the feline shifters council which has up unto this point either banished or executed strays.  His attempt to persuade the council of the benefits of formally recognizing his Pride go from bad to worse as he discovers one of the feline shifters council’s precious tabbies in the trunk of his car.  Female feline shifters are rare and fiercely fought over among the council. Titus knows if he doesn’t take Robyn back to them he could lose any chance he has at legitimacy for his Pride and possibly start a war.

Sparks fly and neither Titus nor Robyn can deny the heat between them.  Now Robyn and Titus must decide if their love is worth starting a war over.

Rachel Vincent combines humor, suspense and stirring romance to create one hell of an adventure in Blind Tiger.  This book is so much fun! The characters are sweet, sexy and full of fight.  There is nothing more thrilling than strong characters willing to fight for themselves and others. Robyn and Titus go to exciting extremes to protect the people they care about. Following them on their journey is thoroughly entertaining!

Vincent’s worldbuilding is spellbinding. I cannot get enough of her Wildcats series!  I love immersing myself in this world. For a little while I can get lost with friends that I love!  Robyn is an excellent addition to the series. She is a character you can root for.  It’s easy to get attached to both Robyn and Titus.

Blind Tiger is an irresistible sensual romance brimming with all the things guaranteed to make the reader swoon.  I’m addicted to this series and I hope that there will be another book ASAP because I already miss the captivating characters. I highly recommend the Wildcats series to any lover of paranormal romance. Vincent’s breathtaking characters will make you laugh, cry and fall in love right along with them.

Wow! I’m not sure where to begin! In the last 12 hours, I managed to devour the first two books in Rachel Vincent’s Wildcats series.  It is a very happy surprise that I stumbled upon Lion’s Share while browsing Amazon.  In 2010 I was among the masses that were so sad to see Ms. Vincent’s Shifters series end.  Therefore, when I discovered that Wildcats is a spinoff from that series I could not resist the temptation! I needed to see if Ms. Vincent could duplicate her success with the Shifters series and create the heady excitement I felt all those years ago. Let’s take a trip back into the world of sexy shifters, Pride politics, intrigue and most importantly love.

Abigail Wade is about to enter her final semester of college when her life grinds to a halt as she is thrown into a murder investigation.  Abby is a commodity among the feline shifters.  Since birth Abby has known that she is greatly needed to ensure the continuation of the feline shifter species.  As a freshman in college Abby learned the hard way how cruel life can be especially to feline shifters.  During her short life Abby has been a possession, a victim, a fiancé and a murderer but none of that prepared her for the hurdles headed her way the largest being Alpha Jace Hammond.

Jace is Alpha of the Appalachian Territory and the youngest Alpha in the world.  He’s faced many challenges since his reign began but none will be as tough as figuring out the alluring and tenacious Abigail Wade. There is a killer on the loose and the feline shifters are afraid of the world finding out about their existence.  Jace and his enforcers are determined to find the culprit before that happens and Abby is bent on helping them whether they like it or not.

The murder investigation takes on new urgency as they discover the killer could be closer than they think and Abby insists on becoming one of Jace’s enforcers.  The last thing Jace wants is to see Abby is danger ever again but he has a very difficult time standing firm when it comes to the sweet and sassy Abby.  An attraction burns bright between them.  However, with so many obstacles in their way is it possible for them to find a happily-ever-after?

Wildcats are my new favorite obsession!  I’m not sure I can find the adequate words to express how excited I am about this new series and Lion’s Share but I’m definitely going to give it a try. 😉

While it may have been almost seven years since I read the last Shifter novel as I started Lion’s Share I felt like it was yesterday.  Ms. Vincent completely immerses her readers in the Shifters/Wildcats world.  It was like I could see my old friends and fall in love all over again. Ms. Vincent is one of the first author’s that took me into the world of the paranormal and she made me love it all over again!

It’s not necessary to have read the Shifters series before Wildcats but it does make things more exciting because you already have a connection to many of the characters featured.  It would be impossible to come away from the Shifters series without forming an attachment to Jace Hammond!

Jace is as sexy and irresistible as ever in Lion’s Share!  The connection between Abby and Jace is palpable.  It was amusing to watch these two fight their attraction and to see Abby truly come into her own.  Abby is a strong, willful woman desperate to help the people she loves.   Jace is also out to help the people he loves. It’s beautiful to watch as Abby peels back the layers of his hardened heart.  One of the many things that I love about Jace and Abby is their passion: their passion for life, their passionate fight for justice and most importantly their passion for loving each other and those close to them.

Rachel Vincent strikes again reigniting the flames of magic and fierce yearning for paranormal fans everywhere with Lion’s Share! Readers should expect to be taken on a wild thrilling ride with Jace and Abby in Lion’s Share! Lion’s Share is one ride you will not be able to stop until you’ve read the last stunning word.  I was so enthralled by Lion’s Share that I didn’t want it to end so I did the only logical thing any serious reader would do…buy the next book in the series Blind Tiger!

Sophie Ross is a witch who was consulting with the LAPD until she was badly injured.  Now she is recovering and trying to decide if she can live on her savings while she heals all the way, or if she is going to have to work some before she really should so that she can pay her bills.  When she receives a message about a potential bequeath from a wealthy doctor she doesn’t know, the curiosity is enough to have Sophie follow-up.  She learns that there is a mansion, land, and a trust for the upkeep that could all be hers—the catch is she has to be able to open the front door and get in.  Sophie fell in love with the building when looking at the picture of it and takes up the challenge and is off to England.

Nikolas Sevingny is a knight with the Dark Fae Court.  He and his brethren have been stuck on Earth since all of the ways to their part of the Otherworld were destroyed by Isabelle, the Queen of the Light Court.  They have been searching for another way to get home for centuries.  Just after he wins another battle with dogs from Isabelle’s court, Nikolas sees a mysterious woman who disappears right after she sees him. On alert, Nikolas goes to meet his men and tells about this and alerts them to look for anything that seems odd or out of place.

Sophie gets to the mansion and ends up saving what appears to be an abandoned dog, however she knows very well that looks can be deceiving. However, Sophie just can’t make herself leave the dog on the side of the road. When Nikolas and Sophie meet in person, it’s not the best moment for either one, yet they end up working together, because Nikolas realizes that the mansion might be the only way for them to get home.  Before Sophie, Nikolas, and his men can start to investigate the mansion, they are attacked by Isabelle’s most fierce and magical dog.  As all of this is going on, both Nikolas and Sophie realize that they are falling for each other.  It’s a madcap race to see if they can find a viable way to the Otherworld before Isabelle’s dogs can destroy the mansion and any chance they have to reconnect with the rest of the Dark Court.

An L.A. witch with a special gift meets a Dark Court knight in England and both team up to reach, and hopefully save, the Dark Court in Moonshadow.  Before I go any farther, yes, this is in the same world as the Elder World, but it is a different part of it.  I will also say that all my very high expectations were more than met as I read Moonshadow.  At first, I wasn’t really sure if Nikolas was really hero material, but as I read on, I found he was exactly the right kind of hero for Sophie.  I also enjoyed watching as Sophie learned more of her heritage and allowed her gifts to stretch and grow.  I loved watching as Sophie and Nikolas took the path towards love even though their backgrounds and experiences were so different.

Even more I have to say that more than once I wanted to just give Puck a hug.  I won’t say more about him, but you will learn all about this person as you read, and I bet you will feel the very same thing.  This is the first book within a new story arc within the Elder World series that I have loved, and I now can’t wait to see where this is going to go.  While I did say this was part of the Elder World, this series is totally standalone so far as I can see, so I fully encourage everyone to give it a try.  In fact, I’m making this a must-read and a Joyfully Recommended review.  Hmm, I did say I love, loved it— Right?

When Elvis Zimmerman and his twin brother, Xavier, received a strange and totally unexpected package from their father, the one who disappeared many, many years ago from their lives, Lexi and her boyfriend Slash agree to go to Egypt with Elvis to find him.  Usually the Zimmerman twins are in total agreement on what they do, but this has divided them.  Xavier is of the opinion  that their father does not deserve any of their time or attention, while Elvis has questions he wants answers to, and the only way to get them is to follow the clues from the package.  Of course, the timing is horrible as Xavier and Basha’s wedding is just around the corner.

After the decision was made to go, Lexi and Elvis and the fourth member of their team are caught off guard when they are almost killed by men who are after the same package that the elder Zimmerman sent.  What a way to start their journey.  Tracking down Elvis’ father isn’t all that hard, but finding him is a bit trickier, especially as the danger is ramping up the closer they come to both solving the mystery that started all of this and finding the Zimmerman twin’s father.  In order to keep mankind safe from an ancient curse, all of the team members will need to use all of their individual skills to defeat the bad guys and get home in time for the wedding.

Lexi, Slash, and Elvis descend into Egypt in order to solve an ancient mystery and located Elvis’ father in No Living Soul.  Usually it’s Lexi who is the lightening rod, but in this case it’s the Zimmerman twins and their father who went his own way long ago.  However, Lexi isn’t about to let one of her best friends go into what has already been determined as a dangerous situation without backup.  I was amazed at how divided Elvis and Xavier were on solving this particular mystery, yet I wasn’t as I learned more on how and why their father went away.  I loved how for Lexi the hardest part was telling her best friend and the person she was about to maid of honor for, that she was going to Egypt with Elvis.  I will say I was very happy that Slash went along, while I’m wondering about the fourth member of their team.  I really enjoyed watching as all four not only tracked down Elvis and Xavier’s father and managed to once again save the world from danger, this time an ancient one, while proving that good will always defeat bad when you have Lexi and her crew on board.

For anyone who has loved the Lexi Carmichael mysteries like I have, No Living Soul is a perfect continuation of the series.  If you have not dipped your toe in, then this is a perfect place to dive in—of course I’m betting you will want to go back and see just how all of the characters came together.  In this latest adventure, I seriously loved how we went back into ancient Egyptian legends and combined them with the modern technology.  No Living Soul had me guessing with every page on what would be discovered next and how they would get over the hurdle thrown at them.  By the end of the book, I had to Joyfully Recommend it because of the mystery and suspense.  And then you have the wonderful characters and how they interact.  Talk about the full deal.

Daisy is eager to oversee her life but the world seems to be against her.  Therefore, she is determined to have fun while visiting the Highlands and Cailean is exactly the man she would like to play with. He is determined to deny her regardless of the feelings she stirs within.

Will Daisy’s long lost love come and rescue her from her predicament or will her season of freedom end with a forced marriage to a stranger?  Find out what happens when this Sinful Scottish Laird faces one determined English Lady.

Julia London’s Sinful Scottish Laird hits all the right spots.

Sinful Scottish Laird features fascinating characters, intense sexual tension and one hell of a story.  Historicals are not usually my first choice but I simply cannot resist the men of the Highlands.  Ms. London does an amazing job of taking the reader into the highlands.  The world building in Sinful Scottish Laird is superb.  I could picture it all in my mind and I wanted to go and see it for myself.  I wouldn’t mind running into a man like Cailean either.  While that seems rather unlikely to happen I must live vicariously through Ms. London’s characters.

My heart went out to Daisy and the situation she faces.  I could feel her pain and frustration as I sped through the pages.  When she lays eyes on Cailean the first time the attraction is powerful.  Cailean is dealing with his own inner demons when it comes to trusting women.  He is baffled by the boldness Daisy exhibits toward him and does everything he can to ignore her.  Their bickering is simply hilarious and adorable.  I could not get enough of it. They made me laugh out loud so many times!

Cailean may be sexy as SIN but he melted my heart with his kindness towards Daisy’s son Ellis.  I was expecting more intrigue as Captain Robert Spivey entered the picture.  I was disappointed a bit but the rest of the novel exceeds expectations making Sinful Scottish Laird a Joyfully Recommended Read for February.

Sinful Scottish Laird is a romance you will not soon forget.  This sexy couple will sweep you off your feet and have you racing through the pages to discover if they find their happily ever after. Ms. London gives us a remarkable read with Sinful Scottish Laird.  I cannot wait to take my next trip to the Highlands when Cailean’s brother Rabbie discovers love in Hard-Headed Highlander.
