Christmas in Da Conti's Bed by Sharon Kendrick
Published by Harlequin Genres: Contemporary

Niccolo Da Conti liked to be in control of many things, including his sister. However, she is pushing to have her unacceptable school girlfriend, Alannah Collins, act as her bridesmaid, and Niccolo can NOT have the ‘tacky topless model’ sullying his sister’s reputation. To make matters worse for Niccolo, he finds that he is still attracted to the little tramp. What else is the billionaire to do, but offer her something she can’t refuse in order to get her out of his system and move on with his life?
Alannah Collins has some secrets that her tougher than nails exterior desires to hide. Going toe-to-toe with the attractive Niccolo Da Conti is one that she is desperately trying to conceal. However, he pushes the limits on those boundaries, and Alannah can’t refuse his offer for her future, but at what cost?
Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed is a fast-paced, page turning hoot that kept me glued to my Fire until the last page was reached. It’s Sharon Kendrick at her finest with the old school HP that we’ve come to enjoy.
Alannah was tough, and she didn’t quite give in to the playboy right away. In fact, one of my favorite scenes was when he pretty much objectified her in Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed and he knew it, so he endeavored to make it better! Niccolo got everything wrong with his double standard bit, and I thoroughly enjoyed seeing him squirm slightly in Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed. He wanted someone whom he thought was less than perfect, and he didn’t really like that she didn’t exactly follow his commands either.
I enjoyed that Alannah was strong enough to try and carry on, but that Niccolo was man enough to step up and proved that he truly knew her in Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed.
Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed was reminiscent of the HPs I have come to thoroughly enjoy. So I Joyfully Recommend Christmas in Da Conti’s Bed, and I hope to keep it on my keeper shelf, as well.
