Special Forces Captain Landon Donovan isn’t exactly happy when he is pulled away from his team in the middle of a mission for a secret assignment. When he learns he is to be teamed up with a woman he finds sexy as sin, he feels a little better about this assignment. After seeing the beauty fight, Landon is downright excited.
Female shifter Ivy Halliwell isn’t happy to be teamed with another Special Ops guy. She’s had several partners and none of them have respected her natural talents. She learns quickly that Landon is different. He is happy to use her extra gifts to hunt down the bad guys. The only problem is that Ivy can’t stop wanting to jump his bones! Ivy and Landon will be tested as a major bad guy emerges, putting them in danger. Will they survive long enough to test their feelings for each other?
Paige Tyler has a purrrfect hit on her hands with Her Perfect Mate. I have been craving a shifter romance that burns the pages and Ms. Tyler’s Her Perfect Mate is brilliantly satisfying. I absolutely love Her Perfect Mate it has everything you need in a paranormal romance…action, suspense, desire, sizzling chemistry and a romance to die for!
Tyler creates an intriguing world for her phenomenally layered characters. Landon is your sexy military guy with a hardened exterior but his heart shines through and proves he is much more. Ivy is exasperated with her partner situation as all of the ones in the past have disregarded her and her skills. Landon is a delightful change for Ivy and I love how he throws her off balance with his willingness to work together. They share some intensely sexy scenes. These two are hot, hot hot! There is one scene that I love and it involves a pizza guy! I could not stop laughing it was totally adorable. Her Perfect Mate is a movie in the making! The end was action-packed and so thrilling! I was holding my breath in anticipation! You do not want to miss out on this blockbuster read!
Her Perfect Mate is definitely on my Best of list for 2014!
