Two deadly predators... As a feline Enforcer, Tammy Anderson has one objective: locate the missing jaguar and return it to the States. She doesn't have time for distractions, and she definitely doesn't have time for sexy shifters with more muscles than sense. One hot mission... Everyone and their brother has warned JAG agent David Patterson that Tammy is Ms. Hands-Off...which only makes him more determined to get very hands-on. But things heat up in the steamy jungles of Belize and their simple mission gets a whole lot more complicated. Now it's going to take everything David's got to protect the gorgeous she-cat who somehow managed to claw her way past his defenses...and into his heart.
Enforcer Tammy Anderson has a reputation among her fellow enforcers as a one woman show. Tammy likes to leave her partners in the dust. Her latest case involves a missing jaguar. She is all set to head to Belize to find the jaguar when she discovers she has been assigned a partner for this mission.
JAG Agent David Patterson has heard a lot about Tammy. None of that prepared him for the insane chemistry and protective feelings she arouses. She manages to get away from him once but as they arrive in Belize they both realize having a partner may be a good thing.
The case of the missing Jaguar becomes more complicated than either Tammy or David anticipated. Danger stalks their every move as things heat up in the jungle. Tammy and David ache to explore the intense feelings between them but they may not get the chance as it seems someone wants them dead.
Terry Spear makes the pages of her latest Jaguar book catch fire with her steamy characters and suspenseful storytelling. Jaguar Hunt takes us from Texas to Belize and back with one hell of a plotline and plenty of passion. Tammy and David are the perfect pair; it was exciting falling in love with them as the story unfolded. Tammy is such a strong and crafty character. She is definitely capable of taking care of herself but she has forgotten what it is like to have someone take care of her. David is smitten with Tammy right away. He really can put her in her place and come out all innocent. I just love the teasing banter they have throughout the story.
Ms. Spear does an excellent job of creating a visual of the jungle setting for the reader. The entire zip line scenario made me want to vomit and that is actually good because I felt like I was experiencing the happenings with the characters. I do love the Belize setting but I could really do without the snakes!
Jaguar Hunt takes the reader on a wild adventure…one they won’t want to end!
