For centuries the people of the planet Zoria have enjoyed peace between the kingdoms. The ruler of Pheor is about to change everything, bringing blood and destruction to their world. King Vasilis is hell bent on attacking his neighboring nation of Kalrune, and he has no intention of stopping until everyone on Zoria is under his iron fist.
Known throughout the lands as the assassin Shadowwalker, Balin Cor, a Terrasolis is offered the chance of a clean slate if, and only if he assassinates King Vasilis to stop the coming war. Apparently fate has other plans for Balin after his airship is destroyed and the assassin is critically injured.
If not for the intervention of a secretly gifted healer living a secluded life as a farmer Balin would’ve died. For the first time in his life the assassin begins to feel something for another man and abandons his profession.
Destiny has plans for Balin and his lover Damir Rosen. Much will be asked of them, tragedy before victory, tears before cheers. If their journey doesn’t break them the unlikely champions have a chance.
Excitement, adventure, and sensual delights place Summoner’s Dirge on top. The first book in The Last Canticle series lays the groundwork for a powerful tale of damaged men on a quest to stop the ultimate evil. Balin and Damir are thrust into a limelight neither sought with supporting characters adding the right balance to back up the pair. Rich in passion, storyline, and a worthy foe to defeat, Summoner’s Dirge is a must read. I Joyfully Recommend Summoner’s Dirge. Intensely emotional and satisfying.
