First, I have to say I loved Tailored for Trouble. It was funny, different and one of the best books I have read this year. Mimi Jean Pamfiloff was a new author to me and if her previous books are anything like this one I have really been missing out on some awesome reads.

Sometimes I find that all CEO books tend to run in the same direction as all the other ones out there but Pamfiloff brings the perfect spin to Tailored for Trouble that made it stand out among the rest. Bennett may be cocky, sexy as sin, and very blunt but underneath that tailored suit is a man that genuinely cares. It might be for certain reasons but at least he’s trying. Bennett comes off as a real asshole at the beginning of the book but gradually starts to transform into the man who he really is and the man he wants to be and, hell, even I fell for the CEO.

Taylor lost her job for going toe to toe with Bennett and decided to start her own company. She is shocked stupid when the man who ruined her life at one point comes to her asking for help. Of course a big chunk of money is involved and after thinking on it Taylor agrees, after all they both can benefit from this working relationship.

Taylor is one of my favorite heroines after reading this story. She was feisty and just as blunt as Bennett was but in a nicer way. Taylor knows he’s hot and the sexual tension between these two is smoking but I loved how she wouldn’t let it go further. This is one of those stories when the characters didn’t like each other at all. There was no love or lust at first sight, honestly after one meeting they couldn’t stand one another which made this story way more fun. The way they call each other names throughout half the book seriously gave me the giggles.

Tailored for Trouble had great dialogue, sassy and unique characters but the best part was the “magic cookies”. I felt the plot was strong and definitely entertaining from the start right to the very end. I already put a watch on future books in this series; that’s really how much I enjoyed it. If you are looking for a humorous read with funny banter I highly recommend giving Tailored for Trouble a shot!
