When a sniper begins killing what appears to be random targets, NYPD Lieutenant Eve Dallas is called in to investigate. What she finds is a killer that can only be a highly trained sniper who seems to be able to set up a sniper’s nest anywhere and take shots that only a few could accomplish. When it becomes obvious that there are actually two snipers, a teacher and a student, Eve rushes  to find them as soon as possible, before any more people are killed.

I’m always jonesing for the newest Eve Dallas book as soon as it becomes available. Apprentice in Death is everything I’m looking for in a J. D. Robb book. I get to visit with Eve and Roarke and the whole cast of characters I’ve come to love. I would love to give more detail on “who done it” but I just can’t spoil what was a tightly written and excellent suspense story. Lovers of this series MUST start reading this today!!
