Working as a waiter in his father’s restaurant in Padua, Italy, lion shifter Cesare Bianco is tired of everyone kneeling to the will of his corrupt uncle Vito, the pride’s Alpha.  Cesare tries and fails to topple his Alpha after his uncle cheats during their fight.

Banished from his home town Cesare is forced to hitch a ride to Rome.  Lady luck is on his side however when the owner of a Hollywood catering service hires the waiter minutes from the gates of Rome.

Actor Hayden Skarz has paid his dues with odd jobs and small parts.  Nailing an audition he’s hired to star in a much anticipated Sci-Fi film with blockbuster potential.  Finally Hayden’s reached the big time.

Feeding the film crew and actors for the first time Cesare is instantly aware of Hayden when the man gets his lunch.  As for the star he doesn’t understand why the catering assistant calls to him on such a primal level.  Hayden has no way of knowing he’s the lion’s mate and Cesare is well aware there will never be another for him.  The shifter wants only the best for his mate, but someone else is tired of waiting to be noticed.  Very tired and growing restless, dangerous…

The fourth installment in the sensual Lionhearts series unfolds in Into the Arena.  Honorable Cesare bounces back from a crushing blow and discovers his true mate in this entertaining addition to the popular series.  The lion shifter and the actor enjoy a sexy romance as little clues are dropped about a stalker whose rage is escalating.  Though Cesare’s lion plays a pivotal role at the start and finish he’s missed during the bulk of their love story.  Into the Arena nonetheless has an inventive romance with a well deserved, happy ending.
