Among Wolves: Book Two
A Spin-off of Sebastian's Wolves
Tomislav Vugrin doesn't think himself much of a vampire—not that others are tripping over themselves to dispute it. Despite descending from one of the most powerful vampire lines and having a coven queen for a sister, he's far from a stuck-up royal and even farther from a force to be reckoned with.
That's when fate puts her spiteful fingers to use and places him right in the path of Stone Marik, the new Alpha werewolf of the East Pack. Add a bit of the teasing scent of a mate, and the attraction is stronger than any lack of information about bonding that might stand in their way.
But changing allegiance might be more than Tomi can handle, even if he has the best of intentions. Centuries of prejudice divide their two species, secrets and lack of time work against them, and soon even their desperate need for each other might not be enough to keep them alive.
Vampire Tomislav ‘Tomi’ Virgren may be Prince of the coven and the only living, therefore cherished, relative of his sister the Queen. Except everyone treats him like crap when his exalted sister isn’t present. It’s downright unpleasant at times. Tomi escapes to his favorite hiding place in the nearby forest when it gets really bad.
Elsewhere Alpha Stone Marik is intent on rebuilding the East Pack after the last Alpha’s sadistic ways nearly destroyed them. His younger brother Tait backs Stone up as his Beta.
Hunting for Tait’s missing cell phone in the woods, Stone takes in a fantastic scent and ends up chasing and losing sight of an elusive vampire. The two species are forbidden interaction and have always lived by the rule which Stone is well aware of. Stone can’t follow the rule however because another rule supersedes it, the bond of a mate. It will stir up a hornet’s nest if the Alpha and the Prince mate, perhaps war between them. Neither wishes to cause bloodshed, yet they can’t be apart once they mate. A fight seems inevitable.
Bloody Love Spats offers the right amount of romance and emotionally charged drama to strike gold. Stone and Tomi begin to fall in love and bond while at the same time feel a great sense of responsibility towards their own people. The Alpha is honest and decent to a fault, Tomi hides a tender heart with humor and mischief. Readers will totally enjoy Bloody Love Spats and fall for the lovers whose bond means war.
