Series: Kagan Wolves #.5
Published by Self Published
Sean Reynolds is determined not to take on the leadership role of any pack. In order to accomplish this, Sean refuses to shift into his alpha wolf for fear that his wolf would challenge his father for the pack. So on full moon night, Sean is well on his way to becoming too drunk to fill the overpowering need to shift. Then the unthinkable happens, Sean catches the enchanting scent of a rival female wolf shifter, Jenna Tanner. Now, all bets are off. He and his wolf have an overwhelming desire to protect and care for her. Is it love at first sight? With a possible mate thrown into the mix, will Sean be able to keep his wolf from finally taking control?
Chance on Love is a wonderful novella that you can read over your lunch break. It is the prelude of what is to come in the Kagan Wolves series. Hopefully, author Nancy Corrigan will bring Sean and Jenna back in a future installment to where Sean is forced to fulfill his destiny to become a pack leader with Jenna by his side. On the positive side, the road to the couple’s romance is quick, hot, and naughty. However, on the flip side, there is no long getting-to-know-you type of courtship or detailed character development. Nevertheless, I took pleasure in watching Sean and Jenna taking a Chance on Love. Enjoy!
