Deeper Than Midnight is a fervent action packed romance! Lara Adrian has filled Deeper Than Midnight with heartbreaking emotion, radiant romance, and palpable tension. This is the ninth book in the Midnight Breed series and yet Ms. Adrian has managed to keep this series fresh and create new plot lines that keep the reader riveted. Corinne and Hunter each share an agonizing past at the hands of the evil Dragos. The things done to both of them are despicable and make the thought of falling in love impossible but breed mates will not be denied. Their story is a beautiful one. I became emotionally involved and felt as if my heart was taking this journey with them. What I love about series’ is the characters and this one is filled with unforgettable characters that I adore reading about over and over again. Ms. Adrian cleverly weaves all the characters together without taking away from the main hero and heroine of the story. I love reading about these people and was left aching for the next Midnight Breed story! I mean, how often are you left happy and sad at the same time? Deeper Than Midnight’s `Oh My Gawd’ ending left me screaming and counting down the days until the next book!
