Series: Ludlow Hall #8
Published by Self Published Genres: Contemporary
Several years ago, Emma Ludlow and Oscar Zamani’s relationship was excitingly hot with no end in sight; however, due to a misunderstanding on both parts, it ends in the blink of an eye. Heartbroken and with the encouragement of her mother Emma meets and marries a senator hopeful. From there, her life takes a turn for the worse in the form of an abusive husband until Emma manages to free herself of him. Now at the expense of some meddling friends, Emma and Oscar’s lives are about to become entangled once again at the Eden Resort.
Will Emma and Oscar be able to overcome the misconception that split them apart and rediscover the love they once shared?
Delicious and Deadly is a case of misunderstandings, half-truths, and heartbreak. In the beginning, moving beyond the deceitfulness of the past proves to be a difficult task for both Emma and Oscar; but, once they defeat the huddle, their romance moves to a completely new level. The couple’s connection leads to mega-hot and passionate love scenes and most importantly, the inner strength to conquer the devious undertakings that once broke them apart. Some fascinating twists and turns along with a sexy love story neatly describes CC MacKenzie’s Delicious and Deadly. All in all, I found this novel to be a pleasurable read. Enjoy!
