Series: Elder Races #8.5
Published by Self Published Genres: Paranormal
Pia and Dragos will have to leave their home for Washington, D.C. soon as all of the Elder Races leaders are coming to meet with the U.S. government due to the recent actions that have affected not only the races, but also humans. Dragos isn’t what you would call a political pundit, but he is the person who will watch out for his Wyr. But, before they leave, Pia expresses a heartfelt want to Dragos, and he is more than willing to try and give her what she wants. As a matter of fact, he is looking forward to it.
Once in Washington, D.C., both Pia and Dragos are instantly swept up into the events taking place. At this first event, Dragos and Pia learn just how divided the government is on those who are against the races and those who are willing to listen. To say that Dragos is unhappy is not even close to his feelings. and the next event is to be held in their home. Pia is working her hardest to make sure that this dinner is the best it can be, but her body just isn’t helping at all. Pia can’t figure out what is going on with her. but she isn’t going to let anything destroy her and Dragos’ first important dinner party. That is. until murder happens and it will take quick action by both Pia and Dragos to make sure that none of the Wyr or the other races are seen as being behind the death of the spouse of a prominent politician. You would think that would be enough for one dinner party, but it seems that fate has yet more surprises in store for Pia and Dragos.
Pia and Dragos are in action again as the Wyr super couple in Dragos Goes to Washington. I have loved Pia and Dragos since I read their first book and each book just gives me more to love. This quick slice into their lives is no different. I was happily surprised at Pia’s request and not surprised at all in Drago’s response. After all, Pia and Dragos’ love just springs from the pages every time they are together. I loved watching as Dragos learns just what he and the other Race leaders are facing once they get to Washington, D.C., and how he took it. The events at their dinner party definitely kept me guessing on who was behind them and if Pia or Dragos could act fast enough to remove any threat to themselves and the other Races. If you love Pia and Dragos, or any of the other Races in this world, then you really don’t want to miss Dragos Goes to Washington. And, if you are anything like me, you will be wanting the next novella in this mini-series immediately after turning the last page here.
