What leaves Nick heartbroken however is Thayne’s reaction after their steamy encounter behind the bar.
Six months pass and Nick is still reeling from Thayne’s rejection of their true mate bond. Home with the Emerald Lake Hills pack and his successful business doesn’t take his mind off his troubles.
Learning that Thayne is dealing with a killer Created One he accidently turned before they met answers some questions, yet Nick is certain that something else controls his mate’s actions. Only by employing persistence and patience will Nick ever uncover the whole truth and maybe break down the wall surrounding Thayne’s heart. Destroying the Created One together is the first order of business, bonding next.
Fraught with emotional angst, Forgiving Thayne is a darkly ominous suspenseful tale. Nick is a straightforward, slightly damaged soul with his own heavy load of guilt from past mistakes. Thayne is wrapped up in his own drama over the many mistakes he’s made which has turned him into a not very likeable guy. It takes pretty much the entire story for Thayne to redeem himself and he doesn’t really make amends until almost the end. Forgiving Thayne offers an engaging plotline with intriguing characters who evolve throughout their trials. Nick is the one readers will be rooting for to get the love story he deserves. Luckily wishes do come true for him.
