The Director of Covert Operations John Loughlin is trying to recruit operatives for his top secret covert unit.  John has been looking to recruit the foxy Cree Forest. He is supposed to remain detached but he can’t seem to stop the urge to keep his eyes on Cree 24/7.

Things are never truly as they seem in the world of covert operations. John has been watching Cree and it turns out Cree has been watching John. Cree has been assigned to keep an eye on John and she is also having problems separating her job from the urge to taste the handsome Agent. Is it possible for these two to find love in the dark world of covert ops they live in?

Author Paige Tyler packs a lot of sexy, suspenseful goodness into Her Secret Agent.  John and Cree are two very intriguing characters.  One thing that I love about Ms. Tyler’s writing is the fact that she creates such strong female characters.  Her female characters go head-to-head with the men making the stories must read in my book!

Her Secret Agent is a prequel to the X-Ops series. It was great to learn how things began for the Department of Covert Operations.  As usual the story begins rapidly with smoking hot sexual chemistry and loads of bullets flying.  John and Cree manage to keep steaming up the pages as trouble follows them everywhere.  I couldn’t get enough of Her Secret Agent and I’m looking forward to Tyler’s next X-Ops novel.
