Mixed breed leopard/puma shifter half-brothers Adal and Steven grew up under their brutal, tyrannical leopard shifter father Bashuan.  They would bear the scars he or his men inflicted for the rest of their lives.  Older brother Steven chose to take the brunt of their punishments to protect his tenderhearted little brother.

Sent to Denver on a forced shifter retrieval mission the brothers finally make the decision to break free.  Steven leaves to confront and kill Bashuan in order to prevent repercussions to Adal and his newly discovered mate, a human mechanic Dorso Rodriquez.

Unfortunately Steven attacked Dorso before the brothers saw a way free.  It’s not the best beginning to a mating between virginal Adal and Dorso.  The human has to deal with hopefully forgiving Steven and accept that shifters exist.  It certainly doesn’t help that Dorso has a hell of a headache from Steven.

If Dorso can deal with everything he’s being told maybe, just maybe he can take it slow and easy with Adal because the shifter is sick.  The pills his father lied to the brothers about and made them take are making them sick.  If they can’t get help for the damage that’s been done Dorso won’t have to worry about a mate for long.

It is the healing of mind and body, the struggle to find value in one self through the eyes of love.  Take heart in Adal’s story of Hide.  There’s humor and sizzle, sass and sorrow. Adal and Dorso have a rough start in Hide.  No argument.  Love shines through in this imaginative and emotional romance
