After the last fiasco, Sally gives up. She'll never find a Dom of her own. Instead the computer whizz is job hunting in between bending the law--just a bit--to unearth the bastards who'd enslaved her friends. The clueless cops and Feds obviously need her help. FBI special agents, Galen and Vance, have waited to play with Sally for a long time. When the mischievous submissive returns to the exclusive Shadowlands BDSM club after an ugly relationship, the experienced co-tops are more than pleased. Realizing she's suppressing deep-seated emotions, the powerful Doms push her--only to find that her sassiness conceals a scarred and vulnerable heart. Shaken by the unexpected emotional exposure, Sally flees the demanding Masters and the Shadowlands. And that should be the end of that, since both Galen and Vance have reasons not to seek a long-term relationship, especially with a submissive who doesn't want what they can give. But when a brutal attack by her ex-Dom sends Sally into their home, the two agents are driven to protect her. To help her. To take her under command. Falling in love isn't in the plans. But the little imp brings light into their lives, and just as they begin to want more, they discover she's hacked into an organization that delights in burning people alive. Now more than hearts are on the line, and Sally's submission could save her life.
Sally thought she finally found the Dom of her dreams and left the BDSM club Shadowlands, where she had been a trainee to begin her relationship with her Dom. But that dream ended when Sally found herself a victim of domestic abuse. Now she is trying to finish up her Master’s degree, decide what she wants to do with her professional life and has been given a second chance to be a trainee at Shadowlands. Sally is overjoyed at first, but when she arrives at the club and then is given to a pair of Doms who work in tandem, Sally isn’t sure if she can handle it.
Galen and Vance are FBI Special Agents partners who share everything, including their love of being Doms and looking for the perfect sub who can take all they can give together. They joined Shadowlands before Sally left and have wanted the chance to share a scene with the mischievous little sub. When Sally left the club, they figured it would never happen and now that she is back they are not going to let anything stand in their way.
None of them ever figured that first night would set them all on the path that would show Galen and Vance that the perfect sub would make a lifetime commitment and end their playing around days. Sally wants what she sees around her with the other sub and Dom couples, but events in her past are hindering that perfect trust which is a must for such a relationship. Galen and Vance know that something is preventing Sally from reaching all that she wants and that they can give her, the question is can they find a way to break through that barrier and get the trust they need from Sally? While all this is going on, Vance and Galen are trying to find the masterminds behind a human slavery ring that has hit Shadowlands personally. Little do they know that Sally and her genius computer fingers might help them get the masterminds they are looking for, but will that same secret be enough to tear this trio apart just when they thought all hurdles were covered?
Can one sub filled with mischief and computer genius and two Federal Doms find the correct keys to close down a human slavery ring and discover the perfect combination of love and trust to take them all into the loving future they dream of. Sally, Galen and Vance all learn these answers and more in If Only. I have to say my heart went out to Sally several times as I learned what she was struggling to get through in order to grab her two Doms. I alternately chucked and wanted to slug Galen and Vance as I watched them look for the answers to help Sally and close down the ring they had been working on for years. I really loved watching Galen and Vance start out just wanting to have a playmate and slowly discovered just what their true relationship with Sally could be. The mischief that Sally got into with the other subs to drive their Doms insane added the perfect touch of fun. If Only is one intense relationship filled with tough love and loving trust and all the pitfalls that happen along the way, which is balanced against a suspense and danger filled backdrop. My advice is to just settle into your most comfortable chair and get ready for a bumpy ride that you will love.
