THERE'S A NEW BRIDE IN TOWN! Hope Scroggs is finally ready to get hitched. After years of sowing her wild oats, the former head cheerleader and homecoming queen has returned to Bramble, Texas, to marry her high school flame. But her perfect wedding plans are stomped to smithereens when her adoring cowboy two-steps down the aisle with someone else. Now Hope is stuck with the one man from her past she can't shake: Colt Lomax, an irresistible bad boy whose sultry kisses are hotter than the Panhandle in August . . . Colt lives for freedom and the open road; he never gets attached, never looks back. Still, he can't forget the night of passion he once shared with Bramble's sweetheart--a night he wouldn't mind repeating. So, he piles on the Texas charm to tease the feisty beauty back into his bed, while she tries her darnedest to resist. But something unexpected is about to tie their fates together . . . and oh, baby, will it ever!
Hope Scroggs is ready to marry her high school sweetheart after years chasing her acting dream in Hollywood. When Hope arrives home to Bramble, Texas she finds things are nothing like how she left them. First of all, she has an identical twin sister and said sister is two-stepping down the aisle with her beau. With her acting dreams smashed and her wedding plans ruined, Hope must figure out what to do with the rest of her life and who she’s going to do it with. But before things get serious why not have some fun with the town bad boy: Colt Lomax.
Bramble bad boy Colt Lomax rides back into town on a bike. Everyone seems to think Colt is a consummate baddie but he is way more than he seems. It doesn’t take long for Colt to engage Hope in some steamy fun. Neither is looking for forever. What would be wrong with a few romps between friends? Can the good girl and the bad boy keep things light or will things turn serious whether they want it to or not?
Make Mine a Bad Boy is light comedic country fun. Bramble redefines the term small town. Everyone literally knows everything about all or they think they do. Colt and Hope have excellent chemistry. It took me awhile to warm up to the story because I was turned off by Hope’s self-centered nature in the beginning. She does prove to be a better person than I originally thought though. Colt is a sexy and fascinating character. I like the story but comedy isn’t generally my thing and this story has quite a bit. If you are into small town craziness and lots of laughs you will enjoy Make Mine a Bad Boy.
