Actor Jericho Knox can’t use a troubled childhood as an excuse for his bad boy behavior since he grew up in a moderately wealthy, loving family.  The star has had a successful career as a teen on a long running show.  Lately however, he hasn’t been able to catch a break, which is leading to boredom and poor choices.  Jericho is also sick and tired of being paraded around with starlets and the like.  Everyone thinks he’s some kind of hound dog which couldn’t be further from the truth.

The one thing he loves is acting.  He really loves the craft.  Out of work with a bad rap Jericho is finally up for a leading roll as a cop on the drama Steel Street.  It’s stupid, blind bad luck when he’s caught with his pants down, literally, and the shot goes viral.

When his publicist and team decide that he has to come out and pretend that he’s got a fiancée Jericho agrees.  He can act after all.

He’s not quite sure what to make of Kerry Pickering, an intern at his publicist’s office who’s willing to be his fiancée.  At first Jericho thinks that Kerry is doing it for his own publicity, but over time he realizes that couldn’t be further from the truth.  Prickly and a pain what could Kerry see in Jericho?  What indeed.

Miscommunication and stubbornness circles round and round in Marriage of Inconvenience.  The main characters are an interesting mix of naughty and nice.  Jericho and Kerry couldn’t be more different.  Eventually their bumpy romance is ironed out enough to give the characters a chance.  Marriage of Inconvenience lives up to the potential of a love story, but it does take time to get these two together.
