Skye Sullivan was a famous ballerina until one terrible accident left her unable to dance professionally.  After the physical rehab Skye moved to Chicago in hopes of building a new life for herself.  She was desperate to escape the reminders of her former career and the person stalking her.  Unfortunately, the move didn’t work and now she is turning to the only person she’s ever truly trusted for help.

Former Military Trace Weston has made quite the life for himself.  He grew up dirt poor but now he runs his own security company and has the city of Chicago in the palm of his hand.  The only thing he’d like to have more is the woman he let get away.  When Skye walks back into his life he’s determined to never let her go and never let anyone hurt her again.

Can Trace protect Skye from her stalker?  Will they be able to overcome the past and find love once again?

Cynthia Eden’s Mine to Take is a sexy, suspenseful romance that keeps the reader speeding through the pages.  I could not get enough of Skye and Trace! Hubba Hubba…these two set the pages on fire with their intense and irresistible attraction.  Trace and Skye have a long history and you can definitely feel the unfinished business between them.

I love a good whodunit and Eden doesn’t disappoint with Mine to Take.  She kept me guessing until the mysterious stalker was revealed.  The stalker was seriously crazy and put the pressure to Trace and Skye pushing them closer together.  All of the passionate drama made me fall in love with the couple more. I can’t wait to read the rest of their story in Mine to Keep.

*Mine to Keep can be read as a standalone novel even though the couple’s story continues in the next MINE book.
