When someone targets Ansel, the Nightwalker living in Janet's hotel, Janet and Mick find themselves caught in a fight between supernatural powers, one that could prove deadly for them both.

Janet Begay is a Stormwalker who just wants to be able to enjoy her life.  As a photographer and hotel owner, Janet has plenty to keep her busy; especially, when you add in her sexy boyfriend, Mick.  However, that doesn’t appear to be in her future when an attack on her hotel begins a mystery on why so many people want the Nightwalker, Ansel, who lives in her basement.  Janet and Mick save Ansel that night and it begins a hunt on why everyone wants Ansel and what is behind this sudden attention.

As Janet gets answers and finds more clues, it becomes very clear that ancient legends and artifacts are involved.  The fact that not even Ansel can help Janet with answers just lends to the mystery.  However, when the strangeness begins affecting friends, Janet is ready to discover the final answers and keep her friends and loved ones safe.  With Mick’s help and support, Janet takes on the final battle that will either allow everything to return back to normal or will end up destroying all around.

Nightwalkers, Dragons, ancient legends and artifacts all combine to keep one certain Stormwalker and her boyfriend very busy as they try to put life back as they know it in Nightwalker.  Janet and Mick thought they might get a little down time to explore their evolving relationship; however, fate has other ideas when suddenly Janet’s hotel is ground zero for some kind of bounty hunt.  I was very sorry for Ansel as his story slowly unrolled and what was behind the attacks.  I loved how Janet took everything in stride and still worked her hardest to keep her friends and loved ones safe from what turned out to be the results of ancient actions.  Through all the twists and turns, the one thing that was unmistakable is that each time danger surrounds Janet and Mick – it only brings them closer together and proves how strong their love really is.  Nightwalker is action packed and filled with tension, suspense, and passion by turns.
