Seven years after the best and only one night stand that Tasha has ever had, she comes face to face with the other party, Diego AKA Luc Bradshaw. Now he’s in her town, invading her space and claiming that he is related to her BFF’s other halves. Tasha has not ever forgotten that one night of cataclysmic excitement in Diego’s arms, but the Bahamian jail and bogus charges that followed overshadowed the joy she felt.
Luc had no idea that Tasha suffered so much when he was forced to make a quick get- away. In fact, he believed that Tasha did a runner on him and Luc and all his manly pride refused to search her out years ago. However, now that she is so close that he can taste her, he refuses to let her display that sexy cold shoulder to him, and he is adamant that this time there will be no lies to separate them from exploring that smoldering chemistry again!
No Strings Attached sounded like an angst-filled drama awaiting me, yet I found it was more of a sweet romance with some machinations of a third party tossed in to provide the misunderstanding for Luc and Tasha. No Strings Attached seems to be part of a series, but the other stories do not need to be read in order to enjoy this slice of happy pie.
There was a touching secondary romance that was very compelling in No Strings Attached, and probably one that I wouldn’t have read separately as it would have been a different genre. However, I was glad that it was included in No Strings Attached as it helped to move this story along, too.
