Matt has been a prostitute for years in order to survive and to raise his younger half brother Sam.  The only time of the year that he took off from his ‘job’ was the Christmas holiday.

Everything changed when Kevin entered their lives and explained that Matt is the lost Fae King.  For the first time there is stability in their lives, a roof over their heads, and food on the table thanks to Kevin.  Even so, Matt cannot stop worrying that the Fae Prince will disappear and they will be back to having nothing.

Christmas this year means that the brothers will have real presents and more food than they need.  As for Matt he feels that he’s already received his gift because he finally understands what the term ‘making love’ truly means.  Concerns that Kevin will leave or that someone will take him away keep Matt awake at night as Christmas approaches.

Old Traditions has new meaning to a badly abused young man deserving of every happiness.  A complex blend of romance, fae relationships, and painful memories from the past, Old Traditions tells an emotional tale.  Matt has every reason to worry with so many years of ingrained abuse, he can’t help it.  The fae aspect of the plotline continues to taunt on the sidelines rather than take center stage, but it is important to the overall story.  Old Traditions keeps the reader engaged and hungry for more.
