Jordan Garrison has wanted Jessie Caplan for years. Right before he was drafted by the NHL, they shared a passionate tryst together. Both Jordan and Jessie thought it was the beginning of something special but misunderstandings drove them apart. Now it appears as though they might have a second chance to find that special something they missed out on. But before they can be together, they have to move passed the mistakes that drove them apart in the past. Can they make it work this time?

One More Shot by Victoria Denault was a sexy, hot, mess. I both hated and loved Jordan. I found myself extremely frustrated by his actions while at the same time aching for him to finally get it right with Jessie. This made for a story, that while I did enjoy it, didn’t allow me to become absorbed into the lives of characters. I know I’ll be reading more Victoria Denault in the future but One More Shot just left me feeling as though I was missing something.
