Random Acts of Fantasy by Julia Kent
Series: Invitation to Eden, Random
Published by Self Published Genres: Contemporary, Menage
Darla’s life just keeps getting better and better. First, she was successfully able to move from her small Ohio hometown to the big Boston to a career that she loves. Secondly, she has a special romantic relationship with two handsome men from the band Random Acts of Crazy, Joe and Trevor. Lastly, she and the band received invitations to Eden. All they had to do was to spend a week preforming on the mysterious, exotic island and they each would receive a monetary bonus.
Was this deal too good to be true?
While, I am sure Random Acts of Fantasy was meant to be a fun loving, ménage a trios tale; I found it to be the totally opposite. Until Darla, Joe and Trevor arrived on Eden, the pace and the excitement of the storyline left a lot to be desired. There were times where the attempts at the comical moments did not hit the spot. However, it is not until the threesome lands on Eden did things become at tad bit more interesting. With that said, the sexual encounters were mega hot and passionate. In addition to the sizzling romance, the plot contains chaotic drama in the form of a crazed ex-girlfriend, a kidnapping, and the uncertainty of love. Whereas, Random Acts of Fantasy was not one of my all time favorites, I am sure fans of this series will enjoy getting to see Darla, Joe, and Trevor finally get their chance at love.
