Abby Chan is a rising cellist with her heart set on playing for the New York Philharmonic Orchestra.  As a way to pay off her Juilliard School of Music education loan, Abby takes a summer gig playing the cello on tour with a well-known rock band.  Abby expects to work hard; however, what she did not anticipate is to fall head over hills in love with the lead singer, Liam Collier.

Liam Collier is the lead singer for Point Break, the world’s hottest rock band.  Liam is known for living in the fast lane by partying hard with countless, nameless, beautiful women.  However, that all comes to a crashing halt the moment he set eyes on Abby Chan.  Now, all he can think about is having a passionate, monogamous relationship with Abby.

Rock Strong is a sweet romance showing how opposites attract to form a fascinating, lasting relationship.  Abby is a total contrast to Liam.  Where Liam is outgoing and lively, Abby is aloof and quiet.  However, together they are a dynamic couple that will bring a smile to your face as you get to know and fall in love with them.  I so enjoyed watching Abby blossom into a confident, respectable woman who innocently drives Liam to admit his true feelings to himself and to her.  There are some rocky times; but, by the end, Liam and Abby find a way to overcome their obstacles.

Rock Strong is a great start for the Rock Candy series.  I cannot wait to get my hands on the next installment.
