Author Christine Warren takes readers to Alphaville in her new paranormal series. I’ve always enjoyed Warren’s Others series therefore I couldn’t wait to get my hands on Something to Howl About. This novella is a fun, sexy romp that will have you laughing and wanting more of the characters of Alphaville.
Dr. Annie Cryer is a lonely wolf shifter banished from her pack but yearning to go back to them. When a chance to return to her pack falls in her lap she jumps at the opportunity. Annie didn’t realize that her life would change irrevocably when she entered the town of Alphaville.
Alpha Jonas Browning is a grizzly shifter with a pack on the verge of extinction. To save his pack Jonas enlists the help of geneticist Dr. Annie Cryer. This playboy never counted on being so attracted to the fierce little wolf. But now that she is in his sights he’s not about to let her go. Can he convince Annie to make Alphaville her home?
Something to Howl About was a great introduction to Alphaville. Jonas and Annie have an intense, sensual attraction. Their internal dialogue is hilarious. This romance was like an appetizer, it tastes great and leaves you wanting the next course. I can’t wait to read Baby, I’m Howling for You.
