Violet Tanner is having the worst week of her life. First, she was demoted on her job due to budget cuts; then, her pathetic excuse of an ex-boyfriend ended their relationship via email and finally, her upstairs neighbor forgot to turn off his water resulting in flooding her apartment. So when her one of her best friends invites her for a fun-filled weekend party at her beach house, Violet jumps at the chance to escape everything. When overhearing Violet’s upsetting declaration Logan McMasters knows this is the perfect moment to make his move. After countless nights of pining over her, Logan is about to make his all of dreams come true featuring he and Violet in the most intimate way possible. Now, all Logan needs to do is to persuade Violet that they belong together. Something Wet is a spicy, passionate, short and sweet novella that will leave you breathless with great desire. The chemistry between Violet and Logan is flaming hot and neither can avoid the intense, scorching hot erotic tension that sparks amongst them. I am fanning my blushing face just reminiscing about their heated sexual encounters. Whew! In addition to the blazing sexual interactions, whereas, Violet and Logan are longtime acquaintances, I really like how they uncover more meaningful, innermost information about each other over the course of the weekend. Overall, I found Something Wet to be a great read. Something Wet is book two in Lyric James’ Beach House Night series and can be enjoyed as a standalone novel.
