When the lady he’s chosen as his bride decides on another suitor, Noah Winter, Duke of Anselm is nothing if not practical. He decides to wed the lady’s companion, Lady Thea Collins. He’s sure she’ll be a perfect fit. Thea’s not sure she wants to be Noah’s duchess but in order to save her sister from the same misfortune which has fallen her, she will take a chance. Can two people brought together in a marriage of convenience make something more? Or will the whole marriage end in disaster?
I’m super picky when it comes to historical romance. I read so few of them now days that a title really has to suck me in for me to be excited by it. The Duke’s Disaster did exactly that. From the moment Noah extended his proposal to Thea I was hooked and unable to stop reading. Grace Burrowes has been added to my list of “must read” historical authors! This is one book that will be on my keeper shelf!
