The Viper is a fast-paced thrilling adventure featuring an outstanding romance. I’m so in love with Lachlan and Bella. These characters are both so strong and have such integrity. Lachlan’s back story is heartbreaking. I truly feel for him and what he’s been through. His attitude definitely makes sense now. Bella is the perfect woman to show Lachlan the love he deserves. Watching these two fall in love is simply fantastic. It’s one of those romances that make you all gooey inside. The Viper takes the reader on an edge-of-your-seat ride. There are tons of intense moments that make you gasp and pray for the safety of your favorite characters. This can be read as a stand-alone novel. Monica McCarty is keeping her Highland Guard series fresh and filled with sensationally romantic characters. I will be eagerly anticipating the next addition! These Highland Guard warriors are hot hot hot!
