Cassie Rogers loved her job as librarian in small town Kettle Knob, North Carolina. That’s why when Mayor Boone Braddock tells her that due to financial reasons he is merging her library with another town’s library, she determined to fight. But how can she fight Kettle Knob’s favorite son, the high school football hero turned mayor? Cassie is determined that she won’t let that stop her and decides to run against him for mayor. Boone is intrigued by the feisty librarian and finds that he wants to get to know her better. They find themselves as very friendly opponents and no matter who wins the election they may win something more important. However, when secrets that Boone is hiding comes to light, can what they’ve found survive?

 

Trouble When You Walked In was just what I was looking for! I love a romance that makes me feel good while making me feel personally involved with the characters. Kiernan Kramer knows how to write a story that warms your heart while keeping you turning the pages. Readers can’t go wrong here!
