Series: A Medicine River Romance #2
Published by Berkley Publishing Group, Sensation Genres: Contemporary
Will Bartlett is still devastated from the loss of his twin brother two years ago. So he tries to live for the both of them by flirting profoundly with women and playing extreme sports. As a favor for a friend, Will agrees to be the summer local clinic doctor in Big Paw, Montana.
Millie Switkowski is a pre-med student. Her journey has been a difficult one, especially since her family and friends are constantly badgering her over her type 1 diabetes. Nevertheless, Millie is determined to maintain her independence and to become a doctor. So, when she is offered a summer internship in her home town, Millie jumps at the chance to gain first-hand experience.
As Millie and Will work together, neither expects a summer romance to blossom. But with many secrets hidden between them, will their super-hot romance end in disaster when the truths are revealed?
Truly Madly Montana is a charming story that had me hooked from the start. Millie is a typical hometown girl that I found easy to like and to relate to. She is smart, determined, and passionate. I really like her self-governing willpower to maintain control over her life and not to allow others to rule it. Likewise, Will is a force to be reckoned with. He is clever, sexy, and strong-willed with a wounded heart. Millie is the perfect woman to heal his heart and open him up to love. The romance between the couple is spicy and sweet. In addition to the blazing romance, the kept secrets and the diabetes element, Truly Madly Montana is filled with plenty of laughs and dynamic secondary characters to make it a well-rounded contemporary read.
