In the blink of an eye, Mia Manetti’s world takes a tumble for the worst when out of the blue her Master uncollars her. Devastated beyond belief, as a submissive, Mia is at a loss after losing her very first Master without an explanation. After weeks of wallowing in self-pity, hesitantly Mia agrees to play with another Dom – Master Chess.
Since the first moment he laid eyes on her at Club Restraint, Chess Ryan has secretly lusted after Mia Manetti. But, due to his friendship with her Master; Chess only admires her from afar. That is until his friend uncollars Mia and then proceeds to deviously manipulate Chess into exploring his sexual fantasies with Mia.
Neither is expecting their lust for one another to quickly turn into something more meaningful; will Mia and Chess take their relationship into the next permanent level or will each allow hurtful secrets from their past to tear them apart?
Uncollared is a heartfelt storyline filled with lots of unearthing happenings that will have you reaching for a few tissues. I really liked how author Nora Raines allows the reader to feel the true pains and pleasures of Mia as she deals with the numerous curveballs that life has thrown her way. Under the masterful control of Chess, Mia is able to blossom into the submissive that she is meant to be. And, let’s not forget about the BDSM play action within the novella. Wow! Talk about mega hot, fanning face sexual interaction! After her first night with Master Chess, it becomes apparent to Mia that her previous Master had not really introduced her to the full blown joys of BDSM foreplay. It is no wonder Mia has a hard time keeping her feelings for Chess in check. Uncollared is truly an enjoyable read.
