Wait Until Dark by M. L. Buchman is a thrilling romantic adventure. The world building by Buchman is amazing. The reader feels pulled into the intensity of the story immediately. Wait Until Dark is a bit of a slow build up but the payoff is amazing. Connie and John make a smart action-packed couple. It is easy to tell that Buchman knows his stuff. The images he weaves throughout the novel give the reader a vivid picture of the danger, and the love story. If you love military romance that leans a bit more toward military jargon than romance you will love Wait Until Dark.
