Wicked Cowboy Charm by Carolyn Brown
Series: Lucky Penny Ranch #4
Published by Forever Genres: Contemporary
Josie Dawson is new to Dry Creek after her brother found love on the Lucky Penny Ranch she knows she could be next but she is there to do a job. After meeting the charming and sweet Deke Sullivan she can see why all the women in this town want to be with him but she isn’t about to let herself fall for him. When she travels to look at some ranch stock and ends up snowed in with this lady charmer she finds resisting him even more impossible then she thought.
Deke Sullivan might have a reputation as a charmer but he is secretly looking for the one. Sadly Deke hasn’t found her yet. He doesn’t ask for much but she has to love animals and understand the ranch life. When Josie walks into his life he feels that maybe she could be the one, but it’s harder than he thought it was going to be to win her heart.
When I started the Lucky Penny Ranch series by Carolyn Brown I knew right away I loved Deke and couldn’t wait for his story to unfold. Wicked Cowboy Charm was a sweet romantic read that captivated me right from the beginning but I feel that had a lot to do with me loving him already.
I did have a few issues with some of the things that happened while they were snowed in, yes they were funny, but they just seemed a little too much at certain times. As far as the characters went I love the time that Deke took to win Josie over. It was normal paced and he showed her what kind of man he really was.
Wicked Cowboy Charm was filled with great dialogue and funny moments that had me remembering why each and every time I run to pick up Ms. Brown’s books. I loved the conflict that Josie was feeling in wondering if she should really give Deke a chance but I can tell you right now she was a very lucky lady to end up with Deke. Wicked Cowboy Charm is the last of the Lucky Penny Ranch but don’t worry readers there will be more cowboys coming from Ms. Brown in the future and for that I can’t wait.
