The world has changed many times over in the past 3,000 years.  Faelon has been there for all of it.  Born to a female slave it wasn’t until years later that he learned of his true heritage.  His mother was human, his father however was an angel, which makes Faelon a nephilim and immortal.

Feeling a deep seated need for change historical researcher Jackson or Jax leaves his native New Orleans for the harsher climate in Salem, Mass.  Though he’s got a bit of a nest egg set aside Jax accepts a job as a security guard at a nearby church that also houses rare and priceless artifacts while they’re catalogued and deciphered.

Three hundred years ago Faelon found his way to the small church in Salem and a safe haven from a demon bent on torturing the nephilim.  In return he translates rarities for a small stipend.  Faelon typically ignores the guards, but something clicks when he meets Jax for the first time.  Maybe it’s time for the nephilim to stop hiding, to take a chance on love though how does he tell Jax what he is without losing him forever?

Layered, detailed, and thoroughly intriguing Faelon will enchant readers.  This character driven plotline draws the reader into a world of otherworldly creatures against a back drop of humanity.  Faelon and Jax struggle for and against their emotional ties, as well as deal with their strong though burgeoning BDSM interplay.  Well written word building keeps the pace going strong as the lovers find their way.  Faelon overflows with passion and drama. Beware, while their relationship issues are answered the story ends with a major plotline left unresolved.
