It will take all of Nico and Dai's deep love to help her overcome her fear and give her the sexual healing she desperately needs.Publisher's Note: Originally appeared in the And Lady Makes Three anthology.

Nico and Dai are mages who are also two-thirds of a Sacred Triad.  For many years now, they have been searching for the woman who will be the third member of their triad and together their powers will combine and save their world from being forever dark.  All Nico and Dai know about the mysterious woman is that many years ago, something so horrible happened that she shed her magic – magic the Nico and Dai are holding until they can return it.  Now finally, they might have found a trail that will lead them to the woman who will make them whole.

Twyla has been living on her own ever since the night her life was destroyed.  By her hard work and after many years of travels, Twyla has finally found a home that she can stay for awhile.  But when two handsome strangers suddenly show up, at first Twyla is scared to death and ready to run.  And yet her body is reacting in a way it never has – with passion and not towards one of them but both.  That can’t be normal, can it?

Nico and Dai have finally met the woman who will become their third and their entire beings are ready to mate and become a real Sacred Triad.  However, that will not be as easy as it sounds. The past hurts and fears that Twyla have must first be overcome.  She will have to learn to trust Nico and Dai before they can fulfill their destiny.  Day by day, Twyla is learning to accept Nico and Dai until the passion that simmers between them all cannot be ignored any further.  Fulfilling their destiny is only a part of the future that awaits all of them because while Nico, Dai and Twyla were learning about each other, they also learned about the men who tried to destroy Twyla so long ago. Settling the past will be part of their loving future.

A woman terrified of passion will learn that with the right partners, passion can lead you to a loving future in Twilight.  Nico and Dai are a strong and loving duo searching for the third of their triad.  Twyla’s strength was proven by how she managed to live after the horrible attack in her past.  Nico and Dai are strong warriors in their own right and when they finally found Twyla, that strength was proven as they took the time for trust and passion to be learned.  My heart went out to Twyla as I learned about just what had happened to her and how she overcame it. Yet, I wasn’t surprised when Twyla began to fall for Nico and Dai.  I was very happy to see that this triad was able to not only fulfill their destiny, but also found a way to become a loving trio that will last for many, many years to come.  I also have to say that seeing some justice come to Twyla also told me that all three of them would be able to overcome the past.  Twilight took parts of suspense and old horrors, wrapped them up in a healing passion, which allowed this triad the loving future that had been foretold so long ago to come true.

Emily Randolph is an earth witch who has volunteered to help Micah with a new spell he is working on.  Emily is both excited and nervous to be working with Micah all because she has a passion for him that Emily has kept hidden for awhile now.  Micah is still trying to come to terms with the loss of his magick and continuing his work with magical R & D is one way Micah is coping.  However, now Micah needs a spelling surrogate in order to make his spells work.  Just as they are beginning to work on a new spell, they are told that Stefan Fancheut, the reason Micah lost his magick, has escaped his prison and they are needed to help track his down.

Two other witches from their coven join Micah and Emily as they step into the other world in which Stefan is imprisoned.  The hunt for Stefan has them setting up camp for the night, and that night Micah and Emily both discover the passion they have kept hidden from the other, which is extremely strong once they explore it.  Finding Stefan is the easy part, but the passion that was just discovered is put at risk when Emily’s life is endangered.  Micah will do anything to save Emily, even accepting the help of his worst enemy if it comes to that.  With the danger over, the most important thing is to get Stefan back to his prison and for Emily and Micah to head home for the bright future that shows Micah that there are many, many types of magick in life.

Two witches discover love is the very best form of magick in Micah’s Magick.  I have always felt bad that as part of ending Stefan’s terror rampage on the witches, Micah lost his magick forever.  While it was great that he was still able to do his research, needing to have another witch to make the spells work was just another daily reminder to Micah.  I loved how Emily just stepped in to help out, even knowing that it would be hard on her because of her feelings for Micah.  I wasn’t surprised to see how quickly the passion came once Emily and Micah were allowed to just alone for a short time.  While I know that Micah will never have his old magick again, I really love that he has found a type of magick in the love he has found with Emily.  Micah’s Magick is a tale of passion found with just a touch of suspense to keep it a bit spicy.

Keeping Kaitlyn by Anya Bast
Series: Mates of the Lycaon #1
Genres: BDSM, Paranormal

Kaitlyn Gannet has a pretty normal and boring life, going to work and spending time with her sisters.  All of the sisters have a tight bond due to their upbringing.  However, lately Kaitlyn has been experiencing something very different in her life – dreams of two extremely sexy and passionate men.  Both of these men are showing Kaitlyn just what passion mean in her dreams.  Now those dreams are affecting her waking hours.

Lucas and Rafian have known for years that they will mate with the same woman, once they find her in the Earth realm.  In preparation of finding their mate, both Lucas and Rafian have learned English and as much about that world as possible.  After all, several mates have come from the Earth realm in the past.  Their world isn’t perfect. The Magica Hunters are hunting the Lycaon and their mates, determined to irradiate them from the world. Lucas has already lost his family to the hunters and he will do everything he can to keep Kaitlyn safe once she comes.  Rafian, with his love of BDSM, knows that if he can’t temper his needs for a while, he might lose the love that both he and Lucas dream of.

Kaitlyn sees her dream men again and this time not only do they call her, but suddenly she is in an entire new world.  The attraction is even stronger now that Kaitlyn meets Lucas and Rafian.  Scared about being torn from the only world and family she has ever known, Kaitlyn isn’t sure that the feelings she has for her men is enough to risk all she knows.  Lucas and Rafian get Kaitlyn to agree to a short time to see if they can show her that staying and loving them would be worth the heartache of leaving her sisters forever.  All isn’t love and romance because the world that Lucas and Rafian live in has its own dangers.  As Kaitlyn learns about Lucas and Rafian and their world, families and what it would be like to stay – it’s getting harder and harder for Kaitlyn to imagine life without Lucas and Rafian in it.  However, can she stay knowing that her sisters will always wonder what happened to her, even for the greatest love she has ever known?

Distance does not matter when fate and love attract mates in Keeping Kaitlyn.  I could feel Lucas and Rafian’s angst at seeing their mate and yet not being able to touch her and then again when they can touch and love Kaitlyn but know she is horribly torn between staying with them as their mate and returning to her world and sisters.  Kaitlyn had to face the hardest of decisions and I was not surprised that it was an impossible choice between two loves – one of her mates and one of her family.  I was extremely happy when fate found a way to solve Kaitlyn’s dilemma and let all three mates have the happy ending that they all dreamed of at last.  Keeping Kaitlyn is a love story that will keep you on the tips of your toes and all but cause heartache with the turns as love and passion find a way to answer every wish of the three mates.
