Viper Bellisia is finally able to get out of the evil Dr. Whitney’s clutches and she will do anything to stay out.  Acting on recently acquired information she heads to Louisiana to warn the Ghost Walkers trouble is coming.  She never imagined what she would find when she arrived.

Ghost Walker Captain Ezekiel Fortunes raised his brothers and will do anything to protect them and the rest of his Ghost Walker family.  He’s drawn to the newest stranger in town.  She calls to him like no other.  Danger is close on her heels and now that he’s decided to keep the little spitfire he will go to extremes to protect what is his.

Bellisia and Ezekiel are in for the fight of their lives.  Will love be the glue that holds them together or will it get them killed?

Power Game is a force to be reckoned with.  It’s been a while since I dipped my toes into the Ghost Walker pool but damn I’m glad to be back.

Ezekiel and Bellisia are two very strong characters.  I like that they are equals.  Bellisia is no damsel in distress.  She’s perfectly capable of protecting what’s hers including Ezekiel.  These two are so spunky and their banter witty.  The characters are all wildly different and highly entertaining.  The triplets are freaking adorable and their interactions with Bellisia and Ezekiel were funny and at times tender.

The Ghost Walker world keeps growing and Ms. Feehan keeps devising new and exciting ways to keep the reader immersed in the pages.  Power Game is a great suspenseful paranormal read featuring one hell of a scorching couple.

Christine Feehan is a semi new author to me but when I saw this book and read the blurb I really liked how it sounded and of course had to devour it in one sitting. Shadow Rider is the first book in the Shadow series and once I started getting into this new world that Feehan created I was totally hooked. I want to say this story is a contemporary with a paranormal twist. There were no fairies, vampires or even werewolves for that matter, but it was about a family that can mask themselves in shadows which was very unique and intriguing.

Stefano is the head of the powerful Ferraro family. He might be the oldest of his siblings but he is one of the most bad ass heroes I have read about in a long time. The shadow walker legacy goes back centuries and they have a hard time finding their other halves so their marriages are usually arranged so the legacy will live on. It just so happens Stefano is about to leave town for a job when he comes across Francesca by mistake and it turns out to be the best thing that has ever happened to him because she is a rider.

Francesca has no idea that her life is about to change when Stefano steps in and gives her his coat and some money. She also has no idea that she is a rider. It’s up to Stefano to convince Francesca to accept all of him at her own free will, but it’s going to take some time. Sometimes she finds his bossiness and hard tone a bit scary even if she also thinks he is his most attractive at those moments.

Usually during reading a story I always favor one character more than the others but during Shadow Rider I honestly had no favorites because I really liked each and every character. The way Feehan wrote each member of the Ferraro family just worked. They were close and I just really took to how different their personalities were. Stefano was bossy, sexy and had this deadly air around him but he also came off as sweet and charming. Francesca did a great job at holding her ground and gave him sass when he pushed her to do something but I could see her starting to trust him and his word little by little.

Everyone loves a good love scene, but oh man did Feehan bring it with each and every one. They are detailed and last over numerous pages without being too wordy. Now don’t get me wrong during the story there was some repeating when it wasn’t needed but I felt it didn’t take away from the story. Shadow Rider is filled with plenty of action on top of the romance that is blooming and really had me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The ending sets up for the next book and already I am stalking Feehan’s website to find out when it will be released and who it will be about. If you haven’t picked up Shadow Rider I would do so today and get to know Stefano and Francesca.

Evangeline Tregre is trying to leave her former life behind.  She wants nothing to do with the Leopard’s of Louisiana.  Evangeline is following her passion to San Antonio where she opened a bakery.  She is satisfied to start her days early and end them late baking for her customers.  However, she never counted on one of her customers disrupting her new quiet life.

Alonzo Massi is content to lead a life alone with his dangerous Amur Leopard.  He is coming up in the San Antonio mob scene.  The last thing Alonzo needs with the danger stalking closer is a woman.  One look at Evangeline and Alonzo’s life is changed forever.  He cannot run from the feelings she inspires. Can he romance her and protect her from his life?

Christine Feehan takes her readers on a fiery wild ride in Leopard’s Fury.  I could not get enough of this story.  I was addicted from page one!  Evangeline and Alonzo set the pages ablaze with their intense forbidden attraction.  Feehan’s characters are rich with provocative and poignant backstories.  I’m not sure there are two characters more worthy of a happy ending than Evangeline and Alonzo.  I became deeply attached to them both and could not wait for them to give in to the passion between them.

I cannot believe that Leopard’s Fury is the ninth book in Feehan’s Leopard’s series.  It is not necessary to have read the previous novels to follow this one but it does make it much sweeter.  I love when characters from past novels show up in new ones and this one is full of juicy stories from beloved Leopard series characters.

Leopard’s Fury is full of gritty suspense and romance.  This one will keep you on your toes.

Ivory was thought to be long dead, but in reality she is the myth that locals have been talking about for a number of years. She travels by wolf pack and can even communicate with them. She helps save the life of the mage Razvan who she finds hurt and dying on a mountainside, but when she gets closer they both realize they are meant to be life mates. While she is not sure this is what she wants she won’t leave him to suffer, especially when she sees into his mind and realizes he too is a victim of the same horrible mage.

As time moves on it becomes apparent that both Ivory and Razvan must rid the world of the evil mage Xavier. They will also do whatever is needed to protect their new love no matter what others of their race might think.

While I found Dark Slayer one of the more intriguing Carpathian stories by Ms. Feehan I also found it to be one of the darkest. There seemed to be more pain, injuries, and psychological trauma than in some of the more recent Carpathian stories. I am still a big fan of the overall series but in Dark Slayer it seemed that Ms. Freehan was also trying to fill up space by having a lot of the Carpathian to English translations of love phrases etc. I felt it in a way detracted from the power of the story, making it drag.

That these two characters should find each other and go after one of the biggest evils of all was one of the things that keep most readers coming back to Ms. Feehan.

Saria Boudreaux loves the Louisiana Bayou she calls home. Photographing the wildlife is her passion but what she stumbles upon while taking pictures turns her world upside down. Dead bodies keep landing in her swamp and they all appear to have been killed by a leopard. That’s not only disturbing since the bayou isn’t a leopards natural habitat but her brothers are leopard shifters. Saria is terrified that one of them could be the killer but she can’t withhold information about the killings any longer. Saria reaches for outside help and this puts a giant target on her back.

Drake Donovan is sent to find out what’s going on in Fenton’s Marsh after an anonymous letter arrives claiming there could be a shape shifting murderer on the loose. Drake hires Saria to be his swamp guide and it doesn’t take long for the firecracker to light him up like no one has before. The attraction between them is like a fire burning out of control and it can only mean one thing: Saria is his mate. Can he claim this wild woman when she doesn’t even know she has a leopard inside her? More importantly can he keep her safe from the men who want to claim her as theirs and the killer determined to take her out of the picture permanently?

Savage Nature is dark gritty and sexy as hell! This is the fifth book in the Leopard series. It is not necessary to have read previous novels to love this one but it does make this story more special. I have been a huge fan of Drake Donovan for awhile now anxiously awaiting his story. I was not disappointed!! I love Savage Nature! I was ready to read it over again immediately. I think Saria is the perfect woman for the dashing Drake! Saria has the perfect amount of vulnerability and sass to make her character lovable. I truly felt for her and the situation she grew up in. I love that Drake, being the hero I’ve grown to love, swoops in and falls hard for Saria. I absolutely loved seeing Drake once again become whole after suffering a horrible injury. Savage Nature is an action-packed novel filled with brutal fights, killer villains, and a sizzling romance! Christine Feehan is keeping her Leopard series invigorating with knockout stories and terrific characters. Savage Nature is wild and thrilling from beginning to end!
