Evangeline Tregre is trying to leave her former life behind.  She wants nothing to do with the Leopard’s of Louisiana.  Evangeline is following her passion to San Antonio where she opened a bakery.  She is satisfied to start her days early and end them late baking for her customers.  However, she never counted on one of her customers disrupting her new quiet life.

Alonzo Massi is content to lead a life alone with his dangerous Amur Leopard.  He is coming up in the San Antonio mob scene.  The last thing Alonzo needs with the danger stalking closer is a woman.  One look at Evangeline and Alonzo’s life is changed forever.  He cannot run from the feelings she inspires. Can he romance her and protect her from his life?

Christine Feehan takes her readers on a fiery wild ride in Leopard’s Fury.  I could not get enough of this story.  I was addicted from page one!  Evangeline and Alonzo set the pages ablaze with their intense forbidden attraction.  Feehan’s characters are rich with provocative and poignant backstories.  I’m not sure there are two characters more worthy of a happy ending than Evangeline and Alonzo.  I became deeply attached to them both and could not wait for them to give in to the passion between them.

I cannot believe that Leopard’s Fury is the ninth book in Feehan’s Leopard’s series.  It is not necessary to have read the previous novels to follow this one but it does make it much sweeter.  I love when characters from past novels show up in new ones and this one is full of juicy stories from beloved Leopard series characters.

Leopard’s Fury is full of gritty suspense and romance.  This one will keep you on your toes.

Ivory was thought to be long dead, but in reality she is the myth that locals have been talking about for a number of years. She travels by wolf pack and can even communicate with them. She helps save the life of the mage Razvan who she finds hurt and dying on a mountainside, but when she gets closer they both realize they are meant to be life mates. While she is not sure this is what she wants she won’t leave him to suffer, especially when she sees into his mind and realizes he too is a victim of the same horrible mage.

As time moves on it becomes apparent that both Ivory and Razvan must rid the world of the evil mage Xavier. They will also do whatever is needed to protect their new love no matter what others of their race might think.

While I found Dark Slayer one of the more intriguing Carpathian stories by Ms. Feehan I also found it to be one of the darkest. There seemed to be more pain, injuries, and psychological trauma than in some of the more recent Carpathian stories. I am still a big fan of the overall series but in Dark Slayer it seemed that Ms. Freehan was also trying to fill up space by having a lot of the Carpathian to English translations of love phrases etc. I felt it in a way detracted from the power of the story, making it drag.

That these two characters should find each other and go after one of the biggest evils of all was one of the things that keep most readers coming back to Ms. Feehan.

Saria Boudreaux loves the Louisiana Bayou she calls home. Photographing the wildlife is her passion but what she stumbles upon while taking pictures turns her world upside down. Dead bodies keep landing in her swamp and they all appear to have been killed by a leopard. That’s not only disturbing since the bayou isn’t a leopards natural habitat but her brothers are leopard shifters. Saria is terrified that one of them could be the killer but she can’t withhold information about the killings any longer. Saria reaches for outside help and this puts a giant target on her back.

Drake Donovan is sent to find out what’s going on in Fenton’s Marsh after an anonymous letter arrives claiming there could be a shape shifting murderer on the loose. Drake hires Saria to be his swamp guide and it doesn’t take long for the firecracker to light him up like no one has before. The attraction between them is like a fire burning out of control and it can only mean one thing: Saria is his mate. Can he claim this wild woman when she doesn’t even know she has a leopard inside her? More importantly can he keep her safe from the men who want to claim her as theirs and the killer determined to take her out of the picture permanently?

Savage Nature is dark gritty and sexy as hell! This is the fifth book in the Leopard series. It is not necessary to have read previous novels to love this one but it does make this story more special. I have been a huge fan of Drake Donovan for awhile now anxiously awaiting his story. I was not disappointed!! I love Savage Nature! I was ready to read it over again immediately. I think Saria is the perfect woman for the dashing Drake! Saria has the perfect amount of vulnerability and sass to make her character lovable. I truly felt for her and the situation she grew up in. I love that Drake, being the hero I’ve grown to love, swoops in and falls hard for Saria. I absolutely loved seeing Drake once again become whole after suffering a horrible injury. Savage Nature is an action-packed novel filled with brutal fights, killer villains, and a sizzling romance! Christine Feehan is keeping her Leopard series invigorating with knockout stories and terrific characters. Savage Nature is wild and thrilling from beginning to end!

Azami seeks revenge on the man that threw her away and she’s anxious to know if the Ghostwalkers are allies.

Sam “Knight” Johnson is about to be used as a pawn in a game he knows nothing about. He is a Ghostwalker and his loyalty lies with his fellow Ghostwalkers and he will do anything to protect them. When the Yoshiies come to the Ghostwalker compound to install a satellite, Sam plans to figure out their agenda but he is caught off guard by the intense attraction he feels towards Azami Yoshiie. However, he doesn’t have time to assess the situation as they come under attack. Will battle bring two tortured souls together, or take away their chance at love?

Samurai Game is spectacularly sexy and molded with a great suspense plot. The action is absolutely A+ in Samurai Game. Christine Feehan gives her readers the perfect combination of exciting plotlines and fiery characters. The amount of emotion that Azami and Sam harbor is potent. Both characters are wildly independent and fierce warriors. Within five minutes of meeting each other they are forced to become a team to survive. These scenes are amazingly visual and masterfully written but Ms. Feehan. This may be the tenth title in the Ghostwalker series but it felt like the first with its thrilling characters and fresh plotlines. I can’t wait to read the next Ghostwalker book!

#1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan “knows how to weave a tale of action, suspense and paranormal passion” (Romance Junkies). Now, she’s back—and the New Orleans nights have never felt so torrid or so dangerous... Leopard’s Prey From a tough stint in the armed forces to stalking the unknown as a bayou cop, leopard shifter Remy Boudreaux has been served well by his uncanny gifts. And right now, New Orleans could use a homicide detective like Remy. A serial killer is loose, snatching victims from the French Quarter with pitiless rage and unnatural efficiency. But something else is drawing Remy into the twilight—a beautiful jazz singer bathed night after night in a flood of bloodred neon. Sultry, mysterious and as seductive as her songs, she’s luring Remy deeper into the shadows than he ever imagined. And as their passions swell, his keen instinct for survival will be challenged like never before. By a killer—and by a woman.

Remy Boudreux has seen his share violence. However, when he left the armed forces he never thought he would see that kind of violence again.  Unfortunately, there is a serial killer on the loose in New Orleans and Remy is making it his duty to find the killer before his family of shifters becomes targets.  Now is not the time for distractions but that’s exactly what sultry singer Bijou Breaux is.

Bijou is returning to her home after a successful career. She’s tired of the musician’s lifestyle.  She saw how her father handled fame and she isn’t interested in becoming like him at all. Bijou is content to open her own club and settle down in the Bayou.  It doesn’t take long for her to become wrapped up in the mystery surrounding the recent murders.  It also doesn’t take long for Bijou’s crush on Remy to resurface.

Will these two hot-blooded people be able to find love and survive the danger stalking them?

Feehan keeps her Leopard series spicy with the latest installment, Leopard’s Prey.  Remy and Bijou burn up the pages as the story flows fast and fierce.  I could not get enough of the blinding chemistry between these two.  It is very exciting to see Remy get his story.  The murder mystery is intense and thrilling but the romance steals the show as Remy and Bijou get to know each other and discover the love between them.  Christine Feehan has created a five-star romance with Leopard’s Prey and you don’t want to miss it!
