The Tropic Cove Pet Store in northern Michigan is Ari’s pride and joy.  Small business owner Ari has always had an affinity for the sea and takes comfort in his ocean themed shop.

In his early thirties Ari is finally going to see the ocean for himself by attending his favorite cousin Todd’s wedding.  Ari is literally giddy with the thought of a vacation in San Diego and standing up for Todd as his best man.

The shop owner doesn’t realize he is about to become a catalyst of change for several lives, including his own in a very big way.  Ari will be asked to accept a life altering new reality.  Several in fact.  The downside of learning the truth is that he may not survive everything unfolding before him.

A lively, fast paced tale Golden Son cheerily blends new love with prophesied danger.  Naïve, kind hearted Ari is given an eye opening future in the second Tidal Crest story.  Though a standalone romance, there is also a large secondary plotline focusing on characters from the first book.  So it’s not necessary, but you would benefit from reading this series in order.  An interesting blend of sweet and sexy, Golden Son charms.

At one time Sam Lewis was on top of the world and everyone knew the name of the Olympic diver and his medals.  But that was several years ago.  He knew the public would be fickle and quickly forget.  So the medals gathered dust and Sam used his past fame for a job as a star attraction at Water World in southern California.

When his day was over Sam loved to visit the Atlantic Kingdom exhibit and watch the lifelike mermaids and mermen show.  Sam is thrilled to meet Percy who works behind the scene at the exhibit as one of their designers.

Perhaps the idea of love at first sight is stretching things a bit, yet Sam is admittedly smitten with Percy from the moment they are introduced.  The more time they spend together the further Sam falls for the sexy and sweet Adonis.  Everything is going well until Percy tells him that his parents are extremely traditional and expect him to marry the woman they’ve chosen.  Telling them that he’s gay won’t matter according to Percy.  Trying to understand that is nothing compared to seeing Percy suddenly take to the water and transform into a merman.  There are so many complications to their relationship Sam isn’t sure what to tackle first.  The only certainty is knowing that Sam refuses to lose Percy to another.

The call of the sea changes one man’s life forever in Deep Dive.  An original storyline from the ocean comes to life within the pages of Deep Dive, the first book in the Tidal Crest series.  Sam has developed a certain amount of cynicism which helps him deal with Percy’s unusual life.  As for the merman, he’s a gentle soul whose passive personality desperately needs someone like Sam in his corner.  The one time medalist becomes the hero here, the knight in shining armor.  Enjoy Deep Dive – Sam’s a worthy treasure for Percy’s kingdom.

A history of excellent grades and an enviable position on the varsity baseball team afforded sophomore Adam Irwin-Willson certain status in high school, which balanced with a happy, though unconventional home life of two fathers and an older sister.

Lately, however, some of Adam’s grades have slipped and has had problems with another student who bullies him about his fathers.  Everything came to a head when Adam punched his tormentor in the nose. As punishment Adam is suspended and his fathers hire a tutor.

With two fathers Adam’s always been sensitive to the gay issue though he’s never questioned his own ‘straight’ sexuality.  It’s never been a problem for him until the moment his tutor, fellow student Trevor Ellis walks into his home.  As sappy as it sounds the more time Adam spends with Trevor the more he’s falling for the quietly open gay boy.  Adam is now faced with a choice that may define his life – maintain a straight friendship and nothing more or embrace what his heart is telling him.  Not only is the sophomore dealing with a mature decision but he’s discovered Trevor is being used as a punching bag at home.  Tough, intense issues for a boy not yet a man.

Cleverly delightful one minute and intensely direct the next, Another Dumb Jock packs every emotion and more within its pages.  Heady issues for high school students to work through, yet author Jeff Emo deftly pens a realistic tale.  Written in a straightforward manner there aren’t any unexpected surprises as Adam and Trevor’s story unfolds, however the characters manage to enthrall readers with their honest, emotional journey.  Another Dumb Jock offers romance and emotional angst within a heartwarming tale that feels right.

William Austin has always wanted to be a nurse, though he’s no longer sure the gratification is worth the pain of losing a patient. For now, he’s a nursing student and works two jobs—barista and private nurse. Will meets Blaine Coventry at the coffee shop, and when the altruistic young attorney offers him a job caring for his Uncle Elliot, Will accepts. Will finds that Elliot’s stroke has left him unable to walk or talk, and Elliot's husband, James, says the goal is to keep Elliot comfortable until he passes. But Will starts rehabilitation, and his patient soon begins to make progress. When James resists, Will realizes something isn’t right, and investigates. Then he discovers a chilling secret that threatens to forever change Will's life... or perhaps end it.

The nursing field is typically filled with women, so William Austin is used to the questioning stares.  It’s been Will’s experience however that the nursing staff are the ones who actually help the patient get better.  He only doubts his career choice sometimes when someone dies and it makes his soft heart so sad.

He also works part-time as a barista at a local coffee shop to supplement his income while in nursing school.  Not only does Will make decent money, but he also enjoys seeing the regulars and meeting new people, like a hot young lawyer called Blaine Coventry.

In a very short amount of time Will and Blaine have grown close.  As luck would have it Blaine’s uncle Elliot recently had a stroke and needs specialized care.  The money that his uncle’s partner is offering would supplement the next semester’s class fees. Sometimes though when an offer appears to be a godsend or too good to be true, it just might be.  Because from the moment Will arrives he senses something isn’t right, but what is Elliot trying to warn him about?

Supernatural forces bring eerie and scary to life.  Strange happenings hide within normalcy in The Left Hand Path.  Will is the bright spot in a twisted tale that hits when you least expect.  Sometimes The Left Hand Path even edges towards creepy too.  A fascinating story, but not a HEA, at least not the usual kind.
