Cesare Sabatino wants to please his grandmother.  However, the only way to give her a bit of her past is to marry one of the young women whose family currently holds the deed to an island that his grandmother grew up on.  Cesare never intended on marrying, but a marriage of convenience to get what he wants for another seems ideal to this arrogant man.  Imagine his surprise when the dirt poor “farm-girl” turns him down!

Lizzie Whitaker has never felt that she measured up to anyone’s standards.  It didn’t help that her fiancé left her for another after claiming she was cold in the touchy feely area.  Resigning herself to just getting on with what needs to be done, Lizzie never planned on having a man in her life, just supporting her younger sister and working the farm.  When a billionaire out of nowhere shows up offering her the world, Lizzie quickly turns him down.  However, she soon finds that she can make more people happy if she just sacrifices a little bit of her life.  Besides, it’s not as if she can respond to the handsome fellow and fall in love, right?

Lynne Graham is consistently fabulous and The Billionaire’s Bridal Bargain didn’t disappoint, either!

The Billionaire’s Bridal Bargain was NOT a blackmail-her-to-get-what-he-wants read, but a straight forward this-is-the-plan kind of tale, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.  Cesare was honest with Lizzie from the start, but he did harbor some beliefs about her that he found were erroneous mid-way through The Billionaire’s Bridal Bargain.  He wasn’t mean to her in regards to his belief, but he just felt that given her acquiescence, she may run that way in The Billionaire’s Bridal Bargain.

There was a bit of angst attached to The Billionaire’s Bridal Bargain towards the end, but from Lizzie’s point of view and her thoughts of Cesare, it wasn’t hard to see why she felt that way.  However, Cesare always seemed to be upfront with Lizzie and I completely bought his explanation to her.  I also loved the advice that Cesare got from a secondary character in The Billionaire’s Bridal Bargain towards the end of the story.  Best advice EVER!!

Giorgios Letsos had a mistress before he married; however, she was not suitable for marriage to this billionaire.  He offered to keep her on as his mistress, and his new wife didn’t mind at all.  Yet, Billie had wised up and walked away as she was not about to be a kept woman for this man!  Giorgios had never gotten over Billie, who was the only woman who had ever walked away from him.  He had been searching for her and now that he is divorced, he means to locate the tantalizing woman and pick up where they had left off. Billie has other plans, and more to protect than just her fragile heart.  She knows she should have been more forthcoming with the handsome Greek, but she didn’t want to be the other woman: she wanted to be The Only One!

The Secret His Mistress Carried was classical Lynne Graham with a bit of a contemporary softening up for this Alpha Hero.  I got that Giorgios couldn’t understand Billie’s point of view in their relationship before, but he tried to see things differently over the course of The Secret His Mistress Carried.  I didn’t agree with Billie keeping her secret from Giorgios, and she knew she was wrong, but I felt that she made a point with her understanding of things in their previous relationship.

I enjoyed the little tidbits that Ms. Graham added to The Secret His Mistress Carried to fully flesh out Giorgios and Billie, as well as their stances on their differing viewpoints.

The secondary “villain” character in The Secret His Mistress Carried could’ve been fleshed out more, but then there isn’t ever really enough pages in these stories to give all characters a voice.  Do I like that the h in these tales always gives in so quickly to the male’s touch?  No, but then someone has to relent some in order to continue the story.  Girogios did go so far as to look for Billie in The Secret His Mistress Carried, rather than saying good riddance and keeping his pride intact.

Lynne Graham established two completely different personalities for Giorgios and Billie, and they were both at loggerheads at different times in The Secret His Mistress Carried.  However, they soon learned that they could maintain their individual identities while learning to lean on one another and respect the other’s view.

On his arm… And in his bed? What is his intern's photo doing on an escort website? Bastian Christou doesn't know if he's more surprised by her double life, or her stunning photo—she's kept those curves well hidden! He has an ex-fiancée to keep at bay and Emmie Marshall might just be the best armor money can buy. Emmie is outraged when Bastian, her uncompromising boss, confronts her. She had no idea her photo was online. But his check's been cashed and he's come to collect his prize… A weekend in Greece. With her. Alone. Their relationship might be fake, but Emmie's trepidation is all too real!

Sebastiano “Bastian” Christou is set to marry, however, his fiancée refuses to sign a pre-nup and leaves him for another man.  Not wanting a scene at his beloved sister’s wedding, he seeks out another woman to fulfill the role of showing the world he has moved on from his fiancée.  Finding the perfect woman in his employ, Bastian sets out to trap her for his own plans to bear out.  Emerald “Emmie” Marshall had no idea just how far her nefarious mother has gone to seek her own comfort, but soon she finds out when she is treated to a veiled threat by her employer, Bastian Christou. Feeling as though she has no choice in the matter, Emmie agrees to his terms until she finds she gets more involved than she expected.

For me, this is Lynne Graham at her finest!  The Billionaire’s Trophy had everything I was looking for in a nice Harlequin Presents book: the billionaire, the down on her luck virgin heroine who is nicely trapped by Mr. Know it all, the discovery of all not being as it seems and, of course, the requisite HEA with just a pinch or two of drama to keep it all stirred up.  Another fabulous concoction by Lynne Graham!!

The Billionaire’s Trophy is a go-to formula, but it works, and it was very entertaining.  Both Emmie and Bastian were likeable characters, and he really did have a good reason for being a bit mean to her at first in The Billionaire’s Trophy.  I thoroughly enjoyed the fact that Bastian accepted her apology at her word, but Emmie needed more convincing to accept his, because she didn’t work the same as he did.  Bastian seemed to stick his foot in his mouth several times in The Billionaire’s Trophy, and this provided me with some much needed amusement!  I also enjoyed the fact that Emmie kept Bastian on his toes, and he was afraid that he would lose her in the end.

Tabby Glover has to approach the very rich snobby Acheron “Ash” Dimitrakos in order to support her adoption claim on her BFF’s orphaned daughter.  Ash, as the appointed guardian who never took up the role, is her only hope.  Acheron has his own battles to fight though.  Once he learns of a little codicil in his father’s Will he finds he is left with no choice, but to use what opportunity has presented its self to this dynamic controlled businessman.  Tabby proved to be less interested in his wallet than other potential candidates, and Ash could give her what she wants as well as satisfying his needs.  Yet, neither of them banked on emotions becoming involved in such an emotionless deal.

The Dimitrakos Proposition is formulaic Lynne Graham.  Ash started out on the rough side, but who can really blame him.  The connection between Ash and the child is not exactly close.  However, Ash did agree to help out this stranger, Tabby, in The Dimitrakos Proposition even if he did see a way to help himself as well, and Tabby would get what she wanted from Ash.  I liked that Tabby gave as good as she got in The Dimitrakos Proposition as, sometimes, the h in these stories put up with an awful lot.
