M. Leighton’s Down to You was just the beginning. “Up to Me has even more shockers in store!” (Examiner.com) For Olivia, romantic bliss has never felt so right as it does with Cash. Unpredictable, except when it comes to satisfying her desires, Cash’s ‘bad boy’ reputation is well-earned, but he’s turning his life around with the one woman who accepts him for who he is. Until strangers from the past turn Olivia and Cash’s world upside down. What they want is something only Cash can give them. And if he doesn’t deliver, then they’re taking the one thing that Cash values the most. Olivia always knew that in falling for Cash she was likely to get burned. But this new threat is beyond anything she imagined. Now she has to trust Cash with her life—and for Olivia that’s much easier than letting go, and trusting him with her heart. Includes a teaser from The Wild Ones

Olivia Townsend has been burned once again, but love means more.  Having learned Cash Davenport’s dark secret, Olivia has to look beyond what she sees.  Cash appears to be a bad boy, but she knows there is more than meets the eye with him.  However, when his past comes back full force, Olivia must trust Cash with more.  Cash has found “the one” that makes him want to be all that he can be, but he is soon striving to fight to protect her.  Calling on help, Cash never expected to be betrayed by someone so close!  Will he be able to forgive those that hurt him in the past and hang on to Olivia too?

Up to Me kept the story line moving as the Davenports’ secrets are delved into deeper.  The chemistry between Cash and Olivia burns up the pages, and unraveling the web of deceit is a little tangled.  However, I found that Olivia and Cash lacked some depth to what they experienced in Up to Me.  I really wanted to ride their emotional rollercoaster as they dealt with the full ramifications of their individual betrayals, but they didn’t really go that way in Up to Me.  That’s not to say that Olivia didn’t come to some hard truths in Up to Me, because she did.  She knew that what she thought she had experienced before wasn’t anything like what she feared.  Yet, she didn’t truly express that feeling of ultimate betrayal that should’ve hurt more in Up to Me and, frankly, neither did Cash.  However, perhaps that will be worked through more in the follow-up novel to Up to Me.

When it comes to passion this hot, it’s all or nothing. Olivia Townsend’s wealthy cousin Marissa had everything a girl could ask for—a great job, a privileged life, and all the friends she wanted. Or, at least, all the friends money could buy. But one case of mistaken identity has turned her privileged world upside down. An abduction gone wrong lands her right in the lap of the sexiest, most dangerous man she’s ever met. To Marissa, he’s an enigma, but one to whom she’s irresistibly, inexplicably drawn. With him comes a new world of freedom and passion, of dark shadows and dangerous secrets, a world where nothing is what it seems—except for the blind passion that Marissa can’t escape—or maybe even survive.

Marissa has everything and doesn’t mind rubbing things in others’ faces.  However, Marissa is mistakenly taken one night, and she soon realizes that there is more to her than what others had molded her into.  Nash is back!  He has a huge chip on his shoulder, and he means to resolve some issues from his past.  Marissa is there for the taking, and he plans on “taking” her for a ride as well.  Yet, Nash soon finds that Marissa and he are two halves to a whole, but he’s not sure if he can handle the long haul.

Everything for Us was a fabulous way to wrap up A Bad Boys Novel.  Marissa and Nash were two unlikeable characters from the previous books, but somehow they grew on this reader.  Perhaps it’s the whole watching them change in Everything for Us that did it for me.

Everything for Us didn’t really explore all the psychological aspects of what Marissa and Nash went through, and I found that was okay.  Everything for Us wrapped up A Bad Boys Novel and left me wanting to explore some of the secondary characters as well.  The storyline that carried through all three novels was tied up nicely, and I was just happy that these two wounded people, Nash and Marissa, were able to find their HEA.

One girl. Twin brothers. An uncommon triangle. When college student Olivia Townsend returned home to help her father run his business, she never imagined a complication like Cash and Nash Davenport—twin brothers different in so many ways but with one thing in common: an uncontrollable desire for Olivia. Cash is dangerous, sexy, and bad to the bone—a man whose kisses make Olivia forget she is playing with fire. Nash is successful, reliable and intensely passionate—and already taken. But all it takes is one soft stroke to make Olivia forget he belongs to someone else. However, Olivia is in for a surprise. These boys have a secret that should make her run away as far and as fast as she can. If only it wasn’t too late. A sensual game between three players has begun, and it’s about to spin deliriously out of control. Includes a teaser for The Wild Ones

College student, Olivia Townsend, is forced to room with her uppity, snooty cousin because of things beyond her control.  Olivia meets bad boy, Cash Davenport, that she knows she should stay away from, but she wants him.  Then she meets his twin brother, Nash, a good guy, who also sparks her interest, but he is taken.  What is a girl to do?  Olivia can’t truly have either Cash or Nash, but she would like to just let go and go with the flow!

Cash and Nash Davenport know that they shouldn’t tangle with Olivia.  They have a job to do and an image to uphold.  However, there is just something about her, and they can’t resist getting involved with her.  The Davenports are more than they seem, and they hide a secret that could tear up everything.

Down to You is a surprisingly interesting read as you try to solve the Davenports’ secret.  I found some aspects didn’t hold up to the description and implication on the back of the book, but I tried to overlook that.  The chemistry between Cash/Nash and Olivia was HOT, and I couldn’t wait for these leads to get together.  Yes, one party has to cheat on someone in Down to You, but it really wasn’t Olivia’s doing.  In an odd way, the cheating seemed to work for Nash as he is a user with an agenda in the end.  However, Olivia calls to something else within him, they both care about some of the same things, in Down to You, and he is willing to give up EVERYTHING for her because it all came Down to You for him.

Down to You didn’t really fully flesh-out Olivia and Cash/Nash, but I believe they will be filled in more in the second book of A Bad Boys Novel. In some aspects, it was hard to believe that Olivia completely forgave the Davenports for their deception, but I hope that she will hold on to some lingering issues in Up to Me.
