Greer Addison could not get the image of her fiancé having sex with her supposedly best friend, out of her head.  Distraught, a heartbroken Greer finds comfort in the arms of bad boy, Raphael Marcel.  Things then go from bad to worse when Greer arrives home from her passion-filled night with Raphael, only to discover her fiancé, dead and her unconscious with no memory of what happened.

Raphael “Rafe” Marcel could not believe it when Greer showed up on his doorstep claiming she’s pregnant with his child and asking for his protection against an unknown stalker, one who’s determined to keep her in the headlines regarding her ex-fiancé’s murder, until her memory returns.

Phew! Readers, hold on to your horses because Raphael will blow your mind.  The suspense is electrifying, the sex is wickedly naughty, the plot perfectly paced, and the characters, whether main or secondary, are impressive and captivating.  When the identity of the stalker is revealed, my jaw, literally, dropped open. I admit that I did not see that coming. I was totally shocked and found myself screaming with excitement!  Naima Simone paints her scenes so well-defined and vivid to the point where I felt that I was right there in the middle of all the action.  My emotions were all over the place, I giggled and even shed a few tears. I yearn to experience the unconditional loving that Rafe and Greer shared.  I was completely engrossed in the storyline from the beginning until the very last word.  Raphael is one novel not to be missed.  I promise that you will not be disappointed.

I Joyfully Recommended Raphael!

Attorney Malachim “Mal” Jerrod is currently on suspension.  He may lose his attorney license and firm due to a 20 year old secret that he and his friends covered up.  Now that the investigations have started, Mal’s firm is in dire need of staff.  So when Danielle Warren arrives, he hires her on the spot.  Unbeknownst to Mal, Danielle is hoarding secrets that could not only cost him his firm but also their lives.

Danielle Warren has been to hell and back.  Two years ago, she barely escaped her abusive ex-husband.  Afraid and living on the run, Danielle is ready to change location at any given moment especially now that her ex-husband has been released from prison.  She has never allowed herself to get close to anyone until she starts working at Malachim’s law firm.  Will Danielle finally let her guard down and trust Mal with the truth about her past?

Malachim is one intense read that will keep you guessing until the very end.  Mystery, thrilling suspense, secrecy, and smoking hot romance are a few words I would use to describe the plot.  Author Naima Simone does an excellent job of building anticipation and apprehension before tidbits of truths are revealed to keep you pondering until the surprising conclusion.

Both Mal and Danielle were suffering from demons from their pasts.  It was a joy to see them work through their problems as individuals and as a couple.  They are a perfect match for each other – past misfortunes and all.  Danielle is strong-willed, smart, stubborn, proficient, and most importantly, a survivor.  Likewise, Mal’s character possesses strength, intelligence, determination, and dignity.  I winced at what Danielle endured at the hands of her ex-husband.  I admired her inner strength to break away from that monstrous situation and accept Mal’s unconditional support.

Naima Simone’s Malachim is a well-written, heartfelt story that will evoke many emotions within.  I Joyfully Recommend it!

Famed concert pianist Aslyn Jericho has not been able to play since she was physically attacked by a crazed fan six months ago.  Desperate to reclaim control over her life, Aslyn decides to take some time off by hiding in Boston in her manager’s secluded condo.  Her blissfulness is short-lived when she is threatened again by a copycat stalker.

Chayot “Chay” Gray is suffering from the aftermath of the revealing of his two-decade old secret.  Ashamed, Chay closes himself off from the world. That is until he sees someone trying to break into his neighbor’s home.  One look into Aslyn’s frightened eyes and Chay’s protective instincts go into overdrive, he’s determined to keep her out of harm’s way.

Naima Simone has written an amazingly great story that will pull at your heartstrings.  I could feel Chay’s pain.  I just wanted to hug him and never let him go.  After reading about him throughout the Secrets and Sins series, I was glad to see him finally get a chance at love, especially since he believes he does not deserve it.  Although, Aslyn has her own terrors to deal with, she makes Chay a stronger man and brings forward his self-worth.  Evenly matched, their romance blossoms into something spectacular and amazing.  I found myself cheering them on as they worked their way through conquering their demons, accepting their love for one another, and exposing the copycat stalker who is determined to destroy Aslyn’s life.

Chayot’s plot moves at a fast and even pace.  I must admit that I identified the stalker quicker than I had in previous novels in the series.  However, it didn’t hinder my enjoyment of the story because Ms. Simone successfully keeps the reader so engaged with the happenings of Chay and Aslyn, especially their blazing hot sexual encounters.  I have enjoyed each story in the Secrets and Sins series.  Oh, what a wonderful ending to such a magnificent series.  Hats off to Naima Simone!

Regardless of how many years have passed, the truth always comes to light.

Ex-police officer now Private Investigator Leah Bannon receives an anonymous envelope with a twenty-year old flyer of her beloved uncle, Richard Pierce, whom had vanished without a trace years ago.  His disappearance had always left a sore spot with Leah and she is determined to discover what happened to him.

Since the moment he witnessed his wife and two-year-old son’s death two years ago, Gabriel “Gabe” Devlin has only been half living.  The only thing that has kept him going was his writing career and Leah’s nurturing nature. That is until Leah announces that she will be investigating the disappearance of her Uncle Richard.  Determined to keep Leah from discovering the real secret behind Richard’s vanishing act, Gabe volunteers to assist her in her search.

When the secrets are revealed, will Leah and Gabe’s friendship suffer the consequences or will their love for one another conquer all?

Wow!  I was totally stunned by Naima Simone’s Gabriel.  From the very beginning, I was hooked. I was absolutely astonished when the secrets were finally exposed.  I admired Leah’s determination to pursue the mystery until the very end, regardless of the fact that her uncle turned out to be not the man that she thought him to be. I also loved her persistence and unconditional love in helping Gabe deal with his guilt over his family’s death.

Filled with thrilling suspense, the plot kept me guessing until the very end.  Just when I thought I had figured things out, Ms. Simone lobbed in a twister that threw me for a loop.  In addition to the spine-tingling uncertainty, the plot contains a blazing hot romance that had me shivering with heated desire.  The passion brewing between Leah and Gabe is intense and long overdue.  Gabriel is an incredible read and I look forward to the next installment in Secrets and Sins series.
