The sequel to Finn's Redemption Sully loves her, but Libby isn't meant for him. It doesn't matter how much he longs to touch her, how much he needs to be inside her-Fate has decided Libby belongs with Sully's brother. And it's killing him. But it's the only way to break the family curse. Libby knows she shouldn't give in to her desire, but when Sully asks her for just one night, she can't refuse. They may not have long, but they'll pack a lifetime of love and lust and wild abandon into the few hours they do have. When morning comes, she'll give herself to someone else. But tonight? She belongs to Sully, and he'll take everything he can get.
Sully Donovan never believed in the curse the Fae queen laid down on his family…until his sister got sick. Now, the only way to save Heather is for the three Donovan brothers to find true love with the three women who are in possession of a particular black jewel. Libby Wright owns one of the gems and Sully’s wanted her from the moment he saw her and she feels the same way about him. The only problem? The Oracle has decreed that Libby is destined to be with Sully’s brother. Caught between his heart’s desire and saving his sister, Sully knows he must give Libby up. But first, he wants just one night with the woman he loves…
The course of true love doesn’t have a chance in hell of running smooth when Fae curses are involved. Sully’s Sweet Salvation is an erotic yet often heartbreaking tale of two lovers who are clearly meant to be, but who fate threatens to separate. I adored Sully and Libby, two empathetic educators who fit one another like lock and key (and that’s before you get to the heat they generate on the page). There aren’t any bad people keeping them apart; rather it’s a magical power that has decided Libby is meant for Gavin Donovan. Libby and Sully’s dilemma tugged on my heartstrings because of course neither of them would follow their hearts if it meant the death of Sully’s sister, Heather. Even when I re-read Sully’s Sweet Salvation and knew how things would end, the tension in the story had me fast turning the pages.
Sully’s Sweet Salvation is even better than its predecessor, Finn’s Redemption. I can’t get enough of Sierra Summers’s Donovan siblings and I’m really hoping Gavin gets a book of his own soon!
