Tess Jennings isn’t about to let her annoying little ability stop her from having a fun time. She might be able to see and speak to ghosts, however she has also learned to ignore them for the most part too. Just like with this cute guy, okay ghost, who just arrived beside her. Tess quickly learns he is a smartass and wants her attention – now! Not going to happen. That is until he does something no other ghost has ever done to her.
Kipp McGowan was a cop with the Memphis Police Department who was recently killed in the line of duty working on a cold case. For some reason Kipp is just lingering around trying to figure out what happened. Then he comes across Tess and immediately realizes she cannot only see him but also hear him. With his murder, along with the case he was working on still out there, Kipp isn’t going to let her ignore him. Kipp is attracted to the sexy Tess and comes up with an erotic way to get her to acknowledge him.
Tess still has major misgivings about going to the cops with her story, but after she and Kipp convinces his partner, as well as his boss, what happened, things begin to get very interesting. Passion and danger surround Kipp and Tess. As they unravel the facts of what happened the night Kipp was killed, they also find a link to the very cold case he was investigating. You might think that would be enough but they also have to deal with the strong passion that has sprung up between them. Tess is fighting with everything she has, not because Kipp isn’t everything she wants in a man, but because she knows that when his murder is solved, he will go away and leave her alone. Unable to fight anymore, Kipp and Tess have to accept what they are feeling. When all the questions are answered, will Kipp still be a lingering spirit in Tess’ life?
What if the man of your dreams is a ghost? Tess learns how to deal with this in Supernaturally Kissed. From the first page I knew this would be one unusual love story and I was so right. I instantly loved both Tess and Kipp, and their love of life attitudes, even though Kipp was already a ghost by then. From the moment they met I could see this was going to be one fun relationship. I loved how they found strength in both humor and love, even in the hardest parts of their adventure. They had me laughing several times as I read on. By the end, I found them to be the perfect partnership in all things. Supernaturally Kissed takes humor, suspense, and passion and twists them all into a love story that is an instant keeper. I can’t wait to see what happens on Tess and Kipp’s next case and I’m betting you will be waiting right along side of me.
