When I saw Tiffany Reisz was coming out with the Men at Work series I knew I had to read each book as soon as possible. Each story in this series takes place over the holidays and One Hot December is the third book in the series and it takes place at Christmas time which I absolutely loved especially since Christmas was right around the corner when I read it.

Veronica “Flash” Redding is a welder and talented artist, but she hasn’t got her big break as of yet. After spending one night with Ian Asher she can’t get him out of her head. But the problem is now he is her boss and it’s time for Veronica to move on both personally and professionally so she has accepted a new job at a plant nursery in order to have more time to create her sculptures.

Ian Asher worked his way up to become the boss of the construction company and it didn’t happen easily. He and Flash gave into their attraction to one another one night but he had to end things before it went any further and ever since then he can’t get this stubborn sexy woman off his mind. Now with Flash giving her two weeks’ notice Ian knows letting her walk out of his life would be a mistake, but is Flash willing to give him a second chance or will she not look back when her two weeks come to an end?

One Hot December was a good addition to the Men at Work series but I didn’t really connect with it as I did the previous books. Flash wanted to be strong and tough but I did enjoy when she started to let her guard down. Ian was a vault with his feelings but when he started to open up and try to get Flash back in his life he was downright swoon worthy. Flash and Ian did have great chemistry between them and of course in true Reisz fashion things got very steamy.

Overall, One Hot December will make you swoon, laugh, and get you in the holiday spirit. Ms. Reisz developed wonderful characters and I really enjoyed the holidays with them. If you are looking for a steamy yet festive read you won’t want to miss One Hot December and the previous books in the Men at Work series.

In the world of kink authors, she's the top.Notorious Nora Sutherlin is famous for her delicious works of erotica, each one more popular with readers than the last. But her latest manuscript is different—more serious, more personal—and she's sure it'll be her breakout book...if it ever sees the light of day.Zachary Easton holds Nora's fate in his well-manicured hands. The demanding British editor agrees to handle the book on one condition: he wants complete control. Nora must rewrite the entire novel to his exacting standards—in six weeks—or it's no deal. Nora's grueling writing sessions with Zach are draining...and shockingly arousing. And a dangerous former lover has her wondering which is more torturous—staying away from him...or returning to his bed?Nora thought she knew everything about being pushed to your limits. But in a world where passion is pain, nothing is ever that simple.

Nora Sutherlin is known for her wildly erotic works of fiction.  After several successful books Nora wants to write something of a more personal nature.  It’s still erotica but this is the story of Nora’s heart. However, it may never hit shelves as she and her new editor are constantly butting heads.

Zachary Easton is a famous editor known for turning books into hits.  However, Nora’s personal sojourn has him constantly questioning and reworking.  He pushes her like no one ever has and she likes to push him right back.

Lovers old and new are determined to make Nora’s life more difficult.  Will she be able to create another hit and find peace within herself?

The Siren is filled with arousing emotions and physical interludes.  Nora is a very emotional character whose past is filled with pitfalls that are still haunting her today.  Zachary is a British straight-laced editor and he is pushed to his limits by Nora.  The Siren was a difficult read for me.  I just had trouble getting through it.  At the beginning, I felt the promise of an excellent story but it never succeeded in capturing my attention fully.
