Takhini Alpha Evan Stone is a force to be reckoned with. As Alpha of the Takhini pack Evan is used to dealing with a myriad of shifter problems but he has been out of sorts lately. It could be because his assistant flew the coop with her mate. However, it’s more likely he’s cranky because he sniffed out his mate, but now has no idea where she is.
Samantha “Amy” Ryba is the Alpha of the other pack in Whitehorse, The Canyon River pack. Amy is also harboring some deep feelings towards Evan and they aren’t the warm and fuzzy kind. Amy has all kinds of tricks up her sleeves to get revenge on Evan but her plans get shot to hell when she gets a whiff of Evan.
These two mates have a bumpy road to travel to reach their happily ever after; can they make it?
Vivian Arend’s Moon Shine marries humor and romance, creating a sexy afternoon read. Both Evan and Amy are strong characters. They are used to being the Alpha of their domains. Their attraction is instantaneous. Mates belong together and they feel that intense attraction but can they make their worlds fit together? The humor really sells the storyline. It’s like Evan and Amy are marrying and the packs are the children trying to keep the parents apart. The stunts are funny but I felt for Amy and her frustrations with Evans’ reaction to everything. The fourth novel in the Takhini Wolves features a lot of heat and heart and I am looking forward to the next installment.
