This Christmas is a time for healing in Virgin River as two souls descend in search for a path to take.

Angie LeCroix was injured in a devastating car accident. After months of rehabilitation she can finally get around on her own but now she’s uncertain what to do with the rest of her life.  Before the accident she wanted to be a doctor but now all she can think about is helping people right now. She wants to give back and years of medical school is not what she has in mind.  Her mother’s adamant refusal to hear this new plan of Angie’s has her running off to her Uncle Jack Sheridan in Virgin River for some TLC and hopefully a holiday that will shed some light on her future.

Navy pilot Patrick Riordan was born to be in a plane but after his best friend dies in a plane crash Patrick is unsure about what he should do next.  He vowed to take care of his friend’s wife and child but first he has to get his head straight.  His brothers’ seemed to find themselves in Virgin River so he thinks that’s the perfect place for him at the moment.

Patrick and Angie cross paths and sparks fly.  They are both in need of healing but will they find it in Virgin River or will they only find more heartache?

Christmastime in Virgin River is always a special time.  After visiting this series so many times, I feel like I’m coming home to family as I read each new story.  I love the Christmas stories.  All of the traditions that the town uphold always make me giddy.  Angie and Patrick are both strong characters in need of a new direction.  Each has experienced a monumental life change and they need to get centered again.  However, when they meet in Virgin River their lives may become more complicated.  I love the way their relationship proceeds.  I love the way they open up to each other and how each time they share more their paths become a little clearer.  Any Christmas in Virgin River is My Kind of Christmas!  Fans of the series will not be disappointed with Angie and Patrick’s story and especially those who adore the Riordan clan will enjoy this.  It was great to revisit all of the Riordans and their expanding families.

My Kind of Christmas is a holiday keeper!

My Kind of Christmas can be read as a stand-alone novel.

Prince Andres must marry the re-gifted Princess Zara to appease a sin that he committed against his brother, the King of Petras.  Andres had always felt it was better to push away those that loved him rather than see in their eyes the disappointment they had for him when he continued to fall short in their estimation.  Broaching a marriage like a contract, in which once heirs were provided both parties could seek out others in discreet ways, seemed like a good idea until those three words were mentioned!

Princess Zara had been hidden away and protected by ‘gypsies’ until the new government in her country found that she could be of some use.  Zara had learned to keep others at a distance, but Andres had managed to worm his way into her heart as he tamed her into being a show piece for her new position.  However, Andres pushes her too far, and Zara realizes that there is more to life than constant sorrow.

A Christmas Vow of Seduction was set up as an archaic tale that offered no true resolution for either party than to see how they could work together to attain their goals.  Andres was really a good guy, but he went about things the wrong way in A Christmas Vow of Seduction in order to protect his feelings.  Zara seemed like a different side to the same coin, as she also wanted to protect her own heart.  However, Zara seemed eons ahead of Andres in maturity in A Christmas Vow of Seduction and her clever telling of this was spot on!

A Christmas Vow of Seduction was an entertaining read with a few sprinkles of humorous dialogue tossed in for good measure!  The characters of Andres and Zara were well-formed and seemed to be good together as the navigated their new found circumstances in A Christmas Vow of Seduction.  I also found that A Christmas Vow of Seduction sparked my curiosity with Andres’ brother and sister-in-law’s story.

Tabitha didn’t want to go to her office holiday party, her instincts told her to miss this one however to be a team player she appeared at it.  When her boss attacks her in the restroom, Tabitha fears the worse until she is saved by two sexy men she noticed in the main room.

Roddy and Ewan have traveled from Scotland to the apartment that their clan has rented so that unmated members can hopefully find their mates.  Roddy and Ewan are also bears as is the majority of their clan members.  Deciding to grab a drink one night becomes one of their best decisions when they see a curvy woman who takes their breath away.  Meeting her is now their most important ‘to do’ item.

Roddy and Ewan step in and save Tabitha from the man trying to attack her and because she is in no shape to tell them where to take her, they take her home.  Besides, having her in their bed will tip the odds on getting her to agree to be their mate, because both men realized that is exactly who Tabitha is to them the minute they got close to her.  A morning of hot sex and explanations first confuse Tabitha but the more she learns and thinks about never seeing or having Roddy and Ewan again, the more Tabitha knows that mating with her two sexy Scots is exactly the thing to make her holidays perfect and give her a future she could only dream of.

Two Scottish bears on the hunt for a mate meet the woman they have been dreaming of while saving her in Two Bears For Christmas.  Roddy and Ewan moved very fast when they found Tabitha but that is what Were’s do when they find their mate.  Their inner animal won’t accept delays unless there is a very important reason to do so.  Tabitha was overwhelmed and even scared when she first woke up but Roddy and Ewan were more than up to the job at convincing her to be their mate.  Two Bears For Christmas is a sexy romp that proves that mates can happen in a heartbeat and when fate speaks passion follows with love on its heels.

Coach Lucca Romano suffered through a horrific tragedy which left some of his basketball players injured and dead.  He is in need of some deep healing.  After running from the problem he has landed in Eternity Springs.  He’s hoping his time in Eternity Springs will tell him which way he should go next.  He never counted on the woman next door coaxing his heart back to life.

Teacher Hope Montgomery is also in Eternity Springs to heal.  She lost her child and it’s a hole she can never hope to fill. When Lucca moves in next door she sees in him what she sees in her own mirror…loss.  There is something about Lucca’s gruff attitude and sexy exterior that has Hope trying to bring Lucca out of his shell and get him back into the game.

Miracle Road starts off with such tragedy.  I felt that intense emotion from Lucca and Hope as they started getting to know each other.  I have really enjoyed this series so I like learning more about the characters that I have fallen in love with in previous books.  However, it is a bit much to take in at the beginning of a new book.  A new reader could easily become overwhelmed by all of these characters and their children.

My favorite moments in Miracle Road where the quiet moments that Lucca and Hope spent stargazing. These scenes where full of sweet honest emotion, definitely swoon worthy.  Some things about Miracle Road were off balanced.  I didn’t get that feeling that the characters truly transitioned.  Readers get their happy ending but it felt a bit forced. Miracle Road may not be my favorite Eternity Springs novel but I will be back for the next novel because I do love this idyllic town where angels and happy endings exist.

This year, Becca Timm knows the number one item on her Christmas wish list—getting over Denny Cutler. Three years ago, Denny broke her heart before heading off to war. It's time she got over her silly college relationship and moved on.So she takes matters into her own hands and heads up to Virgin River, the rugged little mountain town that Denny calls home, as an uninvited guest on her brother's men-only hunting weekend. But when an accident turns her impromptu visit into an extended stay, Becca finds herself stranded in Virgin River. With Denny. In very close quarters. As the power of Christmas envelops the little town, Becca discovers that the boy she once loved has become a strong and confident man. And the most delicious Christmas present she can imagine.

Three years ago Rebecca Timm’s heart was shattered when her longtime boyfriend called it quits and went to war. Her life is about to change once again. Becca believes her current boyfriend is about to propose and she’s just not sure she is over the one that ran away. When her brother announces a friends fishing and hunting trip, Becca knows her ex will be there. She sees it as the perfect opportunity to close the door on her greatest heartbreak.

The past few years have been pretty hard and confusing for Denny Cutler but things have finally started going right now that he’s landed in Virgin River. He is a part of a booming heirloom gardening business, Jilly Farms and he’s made plenty of friends. When he arranged a fun weekend for his friends and war buddies he never expected the love of his life to walk through the door. Letting Becca go was the dumbest mistake Denny’s ever made and if there is any chance of getting her back he’s going to take it. When an accident turns her one week vacation into several, Denny and Becca learn about the adults they turned into and discover the holiday spirit along with the town of Virgin River. Can Denny win back the woman he loves or will this be their final goodbye?

Bring Me Home for Christmas is a delightful Christmas romance. While this is not my favorite Virgin River book I am so happy that Denny got his story. I’m a huge Denny fan and so want him to be happy. I really like Becca and Denny together. There were times I felt like certain past elements were reiterated one too many times. It kept distracting me. When the couple finally sees through the past hurts the story started rocking and rolling. I love Christmas time in Virgin River! It is fabulous to get to share so much time with my favorite Virgin River citizens and especially around the holidays. I love the traditions that the town carries out and the goodwill that is spread. I loved experiencing Christmas in the town through Becca’s eyes! Robyn Carr’s beautiful town and stunning characters make me want to jump on the first flight to Virgin River! I always have this shiny happy feeling after reading a Virgin River novel.
