Their military service definitively at an end, wolf shifter lovers Tristen and Fin call the metro Denver area home.  Multiple tours of duty in Afghanistan and Iraq continue however to take their toll on the vets.  Nightmares, lack of sleep, and other problems persist in plaguing the wolves, especially nearest the time of the full moon when emotions are heightened.

Most nights Tristen and Fin are able to use sex as a means to sooth them back to sleep, at least for a few hours.  Unfortunately as the days pass the horrors of the past refuse to release their grip.  Both shifters also feel a growing divide forming in their relationship.  Fin attempts to shake things up by bringing another to their bedroom.  This only makes things worse between them.  What Tristen and Fin aren’t saying to each other is tearing them apart.  Loving isn’t enough if the words aren’t spoken.

Harsh drama, smokin’ hot nights.  Pages literally sizzle as Tristen and Fin come together in Blood Brothers.  The realities of PTSD shifter style are exposed and examined.  Sometimes nothing can make the trauma better especially when these lovers are unable to communicate their needs.  A well balanced tale of erotica and emotional turmoil, Blood Brothers is both sexier and deeper than expected.

In a technologically advanced universe where humans are classed according to their sexual expertise, Orrin, a man approaching revered Teacher status, is kidnapped and forced to educate slaves in the pleasures of the flesh. Before he can attempt to teach his first student, he has to save the life of Fai, a purring Mattian. Orrin just manages to nurse his little lion back to health when their cell gains another occupant: Hara, an exotic and experienced slave who was sold by his old master. Despite their difficult circumstances and knowing they will eventually be separated, the three men form an steadfast bond. Soon Hara finds himself with a colorful new Master across the universe while Orrin and Fai remain behind at the slave traders' base. With their problems only building daily, can they find a way back to each other or will they succumb to the trials they face?

Once a planet of war and misery, the people of Earth thankfully evolved into a peaceful society with various stages of enlightenment along the way. The young are classified as Innocents who grow into blue eyed Adults. Those that choose the final stage become purple eyed Teachers who are sexually superior, have greater understanding of the human psyche, and other character defining qualities. They also become immortal.

Nearing the final stage though not quite a Teacher, Orrin is minding his own business one evening when he is kidnapped. Waking aboard a transport ship in space is bad enough but when Orrin is told that he is expected to teach the other kidnapped beings how to be good sexual slaves he is horrified. It is a few days of beatings and torture that make Orrin reluctantly agree though he has every intention of escaping as soon as possible.

As the ship journeys towards its destination Orrin makes a lasting connection with first one slave and then another, each unique beings from far flung planets. Teaching slaves to accept nothing less than rape however is slowly tearing Orrin apart. The only thing keeping him from succumbing to madness are Fai and Hara. But love won’t keep Orrin going on much longer. Somehow they must all escape this nightmare.

Out of this world intense and passionate! Teacher Plus Two handles a variety of emotional entanglements with crushing realism and undeniable heart. There’s no question that Teacher Plus Two is a unique, challenging tale of love in its purest form. The characters aren’t stereotypical, especially the `bad’ guy, as well as another. I don’t want to give anything away, but suffice it to say Teacher Plus Two pulls every heart string, equally and hard. I Joyfully recommend Teacher Plus Two. It’s a totally original romance written somewhere in the stars.

The people worship the Thirteen Goddesses who took their power from the almighty Fane before destroying him.  Called the Dark and Beautiful One, Thalil, a son of these deities receives his power from his so called children, the Order of the Crimson Scythe, assassins living in the shadows of the people.

It is forbidden to leave the Order of the Crimson Scythe.  One such killer however has chosen a different path.  Sasha has joined with Yarrow L’Estrella and Duncan Purifoy to fight under the flag of their sovereign Prince Garth.  Battles of man and of the heart unite these men.  They fight for the future of their people, not their deities.  They will also need to battle to keep Sasha alive as he is a marked man for leaving the order.  Through life and death obstacles the three stand as one.

Intricate and detailed the complex world of man and the Almighty take their stand in Iron and Ether, the third book in the Blessed Epoch series.  Human relationships are as complicated as the beings they worship in this fantastical tale.  Blood, sweat, and drama balance against magical, mystical happenings that never end.  One certainty is that this series should be read in order otherwise it’s difficult to follow.  The characters have intense lives with obstacles to overcome in a multi-layered plotline.  Iron and Ether will appeal to those who love a richly detailed fantasy romance.  Just remember to read in proper sequence.

Writer’s block is the bane of an author as far as Mistee is concerned.  Fantasy romance is Mistee’s livelihood and she’s driving herself crazy because she can’t get past the names of her vampire characters, Savir and Valin to write the story.

One minute Mistee is frustrated with writer’s block and the next she is being seduced by vampires Savir and Valin who insist she will become one of them and join them forever.  Could they be real or the dreams of a delusional breakdown?  Mistee isn’t completely sure what’s going on, but when Savir and Valin are by her side she never wants to wake.

Perfect escapism.  The intriguing concept of losing oneself within a story is played out in Add Vampires then Stir.  Carnal, sensual vampires make Mistee wish for the fantasy rather than reality.  Figuring out what is real and what is a dream is the trick here.  Add Vampires then Stir is an inventive and passionate tale that leaves readers guessing until the very end.  Wicked, sizzling, and fun.

A helicopter drop behind enemy lines goes to hell for a team of Marines sent to capture a Taliban Warlord.  They are shot out of the sky and two who survive are captured then brought before a psychotic relative of their target.

Marine Sam Stone has kept his sexuality and love for his team mate Benoit a secret for years.  Caught, humiliated, and tortured Stone and Benoit aren’t sure how long they can hold on mentally.  Their chance at escape comes at the hands of one they considered an enemy, one who is just as much a prisoner as they are.  Trust could mean death or liberation.

P.O.W. doesn’t pull any punches on the horrors of wartime and terrorism.  These men manage to survive because of how they feel for each other which comes across in the plotline.  Scenes of rape and other heinous acts are a realistic part of P.O.W. which will be hard to read though it appropriately figures into the story.  A tough tale to swallow, nonetheless P.O.W. highlights the power of leaning on those you love and care for.
