Honor Stone is a young, idealistic FBI agent when her path collides with Seth Cavanaugh. For a girl who has never walked on the wild side, the dark and dangerous Seth is a temptation she can’t refuse. But then Seth walks out the door and out of her life. Five years later, Honor is an operative with the elite Last Chance Rescue organization and Seth is a desperate ex-cop searching for his missing niece—one of many young women who have mysteriously vanished from college campuses. Going undercover, Honor will attract the maniacal cult leader behind the kidnappings and find a way to work with Seth—while steering clear of the passion and need that’s just one touch away from explosion. Seth knows he had all the right reasons for the wrong he did five years ago. And from the moment he sees her—and takes her in his arms again—this former undercover man will risk everything for one more chance with Honor.
Former FBI agent Honor Stone is now an operative of the Last Chance Rescue team. She has a passion for finding the missing and is eager to join a team where she has a better chance of finding people alive. Honor never counted on coming face-to-face with the man that once broke her heart.
Seth Cavanaugh chased everyone he cares about out of his life so he could go undercover to bring down a despicable criminal. Now the criminal is out of business but Seth is having trouble convincing his loved ones to bring him back into the fold. When his niece goes missing Seth uncovers a rash of mysterious disappearances. He takes the case to the Last Chance Rescue Team and is teamed up with the one woman who could be his undoing. Seth’s major regret is the loss of his relationship with Honor.
Honor and Seth make a great investigative team. As they hunt for the trail of the person kidnapping young woman they get closer to the culprit and each other. Can Honor and Seth find their way back to each other or will their case turn deadly leaving one of them alone forever?
Sweet Justice is an exciting and passionate novel. Honor and Seth share a fiery chemistry. I really enjoyed their relationship and their history but the star of Sweet Justice is the dark and intense plot. Sweet Justice is filled with extremely brave women, honorable men and a terribly disturbing villain that will haunt you long after reading the very last page.
